I enjoyed it when it was on and would love to see it as a permanent fixture in NBC's Thursday lineup, but it couldn't have been getting ratings even close to what it gets on Saturdays. I'm a fan, but the quality of the past few seasons of SNL doesn't warrant these ratings. I think that there's just literally nothing better on TV on Saturday nights, which is a shame. The big thing here isn't the contents of the show as much as the preamble; at long last the dunderheads who produce the show display signs of realizing what many of us have felt for about 2 years: Obama is dead-wrong. The scene is hilarious, with a mix of Pulp Fiction and a Chinese press conference. It's good to see the political knuckle-draggers have finally seen what we've been talking about, and maybe we can soon get things closer to normal. I didn’t see the whole thing yet, but I plan to. I loved the opening when Levitt-Gordon sang and danced to "Be a Clown". It was very much a copy of Donald O'Connor's performance in "Singin' In the Rain".
