Cable ratings: NFL, Sons of Anarchy, Monk, WWE RAW and White Collar top weekly cable charts

Update 11:50A PT: whoops!  My love of SOA got the better of me.  I'd hang my head in shame, but I'm not ashamed. Just wrong.  Not only did SOA trail NFL and the  Sportscenter after it as noted below, it was also edged out by WWE Raw and Project Runway with adults 18-49.  My apologies.

Three words: Sons Of Anarchy.

Yeah, sure, it's not in the table below.  Its 3.475 million placed it 29th in viewing, so it was just outside of the top 25.  But where it matters more, with adults 18-49, it shone again.

I don't have the full 18-49 rankings yet, so I'm not sure whether it came in tied for second (with Project Runway) only to Monday Night Football or  whether it also placed behind the Sportscenter that aired after the game as well.  But its 1.9 adults 18-49 rating trounced the 1.2 Monk and White Collar got.

SOA's 18-49 ratings have been on par with The Closer and Burn Notice, and with fewer overall viewers.  Even if I didn't love, love, love SOA, I would still be very enamored and interested with its ratings, but as it happens, I do love, love, love me some Sons Of Anarchy.  That its ratings are damn good for the cable world is just a nice bonus for me.

And don't look at that as hating on Monk and White Collar (it's not, I enjoy both and have been watching White Collar regularly) but rather loving on Sons Of Anarchy.  There's  only two episodes left in season 3 2 counting tonight's penultimate episode and there's not much time left for me to show the love.  That won't stop me from doing a separate post on SOA's 18-49 and 18-34 rankings later today, the day is still young on the west coast.

Two more words: Project Runway.  Mentioned only parenthetically above,  its season finale on Lifetime, also scored a 1.9 rating with adults 18-49, and it did make the table below at #9.   But through the magic of  the internet and the ease which TV networks can talk  smack, Bravo was more than happy to tweet away that Project Runway was down 21% with adults 18-49 from its last finale on Bravo.
