Via Hulu, and as always, no real numbers that could remotely be compared to the TV viewing measurements, but, at least it's some ranking info:
Below is the Hulu Movers & Shakers list for the week of November 16 through 22, highlighting the weekly performance of some of the top videos and shows on Hulu. This week, we added some additional metrics to help you understand the overall popularity of each clip as it relates to the rest of the Hulu service..
Additionally, as several of you have requested, we extended the top movie trailers list to ten from five. Please feel free to provide feedback on the Hulu Movers & Shakers list and make sure to follow us on Twitter at @hulu_headlines for daily news and updates. Enjoy!

rupert murdoch has really gotten the most out of this investment
I say good for him.
I’d say its fans of TV shows who have gotten the most out of Newscorp’s, GE’s and now Disney’s investment in Hulu. None of those companies have seen a dime of profit, because Hulu is not profitable yet. For now, Hulu is just an expense. Whether it can become profitable is another story, but also probably a story for another post on another day
@Robert: hulu itself is profitable as it’s estimated there were $12 mill profits off $65 mill revenue from last year with revenue this year currently projected at double that. would you please clarify your statement as to at what point hulu will be profitable for the conglomerates? assuming we reach that point when the hulu profits equal or exceed the old profits from airing repeats, how far away are we from that?
KillerTV would you settle for estimates of estimates? I’ve never seen any good info on what the partners invested in Hulu.
At its start, outside equity chipped in $100 million for what is now a 10% stake (with Disney, GE and News Corp having 30% each). I’d guess *at least* half a billion was thrown at Hulu, but it is a guess.
in this biz we’ll have to settle for estimates… thanks robert. seems like we’re very far away then from any return on estimates… assuming profit doubling as revenue has (which not being an economist i have no idea), it’ll be at least five years away at best, which in internet time is decades
Does anyone know if an episode or clip has to be watched in its entirety to “count,” or do the networks just look at page views?
