That’s a 0.6 in adults 18-49, not too far away from Conan and Letterman.
Man turner is spinning even more than ABC. While I’m sure the show has done better than its previous 11pm slot, comparing the show to Fallon, Ferguson, Sykes, Kimmel, and Daly is comparing apples to oranges. None of those shows are even in the same time slot as Lopez.
I will give them some slack on comparing to Colbert, but even that seems apples to oranges without the half hour break downs.
With that said, from last week to this week his ratings fell nearly 20%.
His 18-34 fell 13%, and 18-49 fell 23%. It will be interesting to see where his numbers ultimately settle in at. I could see him pulling about the same amount of viewers as Colbert somewhere in the 1.1-1.3M, but even I think its going to go a lil below that.
Can’t stand George Lopez. I’ll stick with Chelsea Lately.
Lopez’s monologue is the best out there next to Leno. Lopez is funnier than Conan, Letterman, Kimmel, Ferguson, and Daly any day of the week!
Chelsea Handler is soo much better,,,,glad the numbers speak for chelsea lately
I hate Lopez. What a race monger! give it up holmes.
Lopez Tonight has simply become the best late night show out there. Most of the people I know are watching it and have stopped watching the other ones on the regular networks. This dude makes me laugh every second. Pretty good show for TBS. Last night’s episode with Sandra Bullock was mad funny. Lopez’s monologue feature is the funniest of them all.
I like Chelsea Lately too as she keeps it real but when it comes to the broadcasters they plain suck right now.
Watched LT his first 4 nights. Thought I’d at least give him that much considering the bombardment of ads every 5 freaking minutes. Well, 4 nights was enough. Couldn’t take the non-funny “jokes”, the constant audience screaming/applauding at what I thought was nothing, and the pandering. First 4 nights, that was it. Haven’t watched him since and don’t feel like I’ve missed a thing. However, I was curious how his ratings were, and that’s why I Googled …. just to see how he was doing. Figured ratings the 1st week would be high, then drop, which is exactly what happened. Frankly, and here I’m showing my age, there hasn’t been decent late night t.v. since Carson. So there.
Lopez is the best late night host since Johnny Carson. This guy is going to be a freakin’ classic. Great audience too.
Can’t stand Lopez…big racist. Another echo chamber liberal…no thanks.
This is how Lopez opened one of his shows last week, ‘changing the complexion of late night’.. what in the world? u deserve a show if u are the best not if u are best in ‘nameurrace’, pretty soon are we gonna have someone from each race having their own best having their own show… why is a talk show host alienating so many folks 30 seconds into the show…
and whats up with TBS not showing any translations of his million spanish words each day, am i supposed to learn the language.. i am not watching telemundo… come on george, if you want folks to watch and appreciate your product speak the language of the country…
i am pretty sure this went unnoticed give his ratings, he called the Prime Minister of India Mammogram Singh… how can you insult a head of the state like that… and he went on to say ‘Mammogram Singh arrived in India’s official car… the chequered taxi’ George Lopez here is an idea, if you are trying to be funny watch funny people and behave like one with class..
i am sure his show will be fine ratings wise given the latino market, his real success would be how much non-latinos he attracts… this is a shame as i think there are so many other talented latino jokesters who can do a far better job in a way funnier manner…
I haven’t missed a single show and so far i have liked every one! Funny very Funny!!!
This show is hilarious. To the people who are calling him racist get a sense of humor. He is a professional comedian! He is cracking jokes and doing great
,,..The Ratings Are big and getting Bigger,…Hes Just a HILARIOUS FUNNY MAN,,..that just doesn’t stop making people laugh,..and like they say,..Laughter is good for the Heart and health (lol),…keep up the good work G-LO,…
