How does a comment on a message board “ruin” the show for you? There are plenty of shows that I like that get the crap beat out of them on the message boards here and that doesn’t change my enjoyment of them.
(Oh, TSCC, there wasn’t a day this site didn’t kick you while you were down….*sigh*)
i liked the first MP better and the way Amanda was in it was awesome, i still don’t know why they bother bringing back the old cast on this newer installment tho? whats the point? this is supposed to be about a whole new generation of characters for a whole new MP .. fine, bring back Amanda, but she doesn’t have to be THIS bitchy! bring back Michael and Sydney, but i think the “new kids” on this show should have more spunk, better storylines, and way better plots than such tepid material .. and Amanda’s “i don’t think it dissipated” line? i think she’s more capable of better lines than that .. oh yea and the writing .. ugh!

What are the odds it can get a 2nd season 13 episode, midseason order?
They seem to be throwing everything to try and save this show.
Didn’t Reaper skew male, but it’s 18-49 demo was average.
I know CW measures 18-34 more heavily.

Melrose Place is great, and people shouldn’t hate on the show, considering that 99% of TV is complete crap.
For those keeping score at home John, Sammy & Ryan should only count as one viewer, or three rabid Melrose fans on the same Internet connection.

It’s a pretty good effort, with the variation in full caps and terminal punctuation. One of the three should have had a sore-thumb grammatical error, though.

So many bitter, cynical people here. I love Melrose Place too! I’m so sick of crime shows, dramedies, sci-fi and reality television. At least it’s something different. And I can’t wait to see Michael and Amanda interacting again. Actually, I’m looking even more forward to episode 16 when Jo, Jane, Michael and Amanda are all back together again!
