Gossip Girl Posts Third Best Women Demos of Season
The CW Ranks Second on Monday with Young Women
December 1, 2009 (Burbank, CA) – The CW’s Gossip Girl won its 9:00-10:00p.m. time period in its target young women demographics, beating all network competition among women 18-34 (2.9/7) and females 12-34 (2.7/7), according to preliminary live plus same day Nielsen ratings for Monday, Nov. 30, 2009. Gossip Girl matched its third best ratings of the season in women 18-34.
Gossip Girl delivered solid improvement compared to its previous original telecast (on 11/16/09), gaining 16% in women 18-34 and up 6% in adults 18-34 (1.7/5). One Tree Hill also out-performed its previous original episode (on 11/16/09) by 4% in women 18-34 (2.4/6) and 7% in adults 18-34 (1.6/4).
The CW ranked second on Monday night in women 18-34 (2.7/7) and females 12-34 (2.5/7), behind only FOX.

I love Hilary Duff though. I guess so many people despise her for some reason.
Was it just me, or was this weeks episode AWEsome. Best of the season so far, IMO. And… yes, H Duff is gone, and I’m okay with it. Tho she actually wasn’t so bad – much better than I’d anticipated.
