Monday Night Football was of course the top program for the week, and more football took up the next two spots with Thanksgiving night's Texas vs. Texas A&M edging out the Thanksgiving night Giants vs. Broncos on NFL Network.  And sure, it was beaten out by a college game, but ESPN is in about 55 million more homes than the NFL Network according to the September coverage estimates from Nielsen.

Next up was part one of Monk's finale, which averaged 5.82 million on Friday night, followed by iCarly on Saturday that averaged 5.67 million.  The premiere of Nickelodeon's Big Time Rush which aired immediately after iCarly didn't make the top 25, but its 3.45 million average viewers did at least make the top 50.

Nickelodeon newcomer Fanboy & Chum Chum finished just outside the top 25 (#26!) with 3.903 million for its Saturday 10:30am airing.

Sadly, I've made the decision to no longer field requests.  We always post whatever data we see via press release or other trade publications already.  You can  subscribe to our RSS feed and  you can also follow @TravisYanan on Twitter.  During the week he usually posts some (not all) cable results for each weekday, usually late in the afternoon on the east coast (and Friday night data isn't posted until Monday) and he posts the links to that info on his Twitter account to the info on Marc Berman's PI Forums.  You can also follow me on Twitter, sometimes I will post some cable ratings, though I am not taking requests there either...

  1. Monk n the win!

    White Collar drop!

  2. At this point I am not paying much attention to White Collar’s Friday numbers. It’s moving to Tuesdays at 10pm on January 19. It will be interesting to see how it does there.

  3. Trev

    No Big Time Rush :(

  4. I’m still not taking requests, but the info on Big Time Rush ( 3.45 million, now included in the post) was something I meant to include since it was its series premiere.

  5. Cody

Wow Fox News channel not in the top 25 Thanksgiving maybe

  6. Cody

Expalain to me how a 9:30AM showing of Spongebob gets 5 Million viewers

  7. DonWii

    @Cody,

    Saturday Morning Cartoons.

  8. j

    So sports, Monk, iCarly, Spongebob.

I wonder how well the series finale of Monk will do in 18-49? At least a 2?

  9. Lester's Fan

Not bad for Texas @ Texas A&M on ESPN. I figured the game would probably only garner regional interest. It probably helped that it was a close game until late in the 4th. Looks like Texas did better on ESPN on a holiday than it normally does on ABC on Saturday nights.
Also pretty good for NFLN all things considering.

  10. Ryan

Not mentioned in any of Disney Channel’s press releases is how they’d kill for *any* of their shows to have “iCarly”‘s first-run numbers or “SpongeBob”‘s audience retention. (Which is why the latter has been on the air for over 10 years now.)

  11. Hot Pocket

I really hope Sons of Anarchy makes the TOP 10 for its finale showing. iCarly does big business for Nickelodeon.

  12. Andrea2

Hallmark Channel Original Movie “The National Tree” got 2,737,000 viewers on Saturday night (498,000 Women 25-54).
It’s the first of their 4 Christmas themed original movies for this year

  13. anonymous

with last nights speech fnc is sure to be in the top 25

  14. steve

Hopefully when white collar moves to tuesdays itll contiue doing 4 mill and i think that should see it get a 2nd season.

  15. Ryan

How the hell does crap like icarly even rank. Jesus kids these days are stupid.

  16. Luke

The headline should say Spongebob dominates.

  17. Holly

    @Luke,
Robert could easily have the titles for these posts alternate between NCIS and Spongebob dominating (and on weeks with little original programming of note, he has), but it would get a bit repetitive.

  18. TK

    WHITE COLLAR AND MONK!!!!!
