Network STD Week 10

Season To Date Ratings

Fox's stretched its adults 18-49 ratings season to date lead by the tiniest of margins, but if Fox doesn't completely collapse in the next six weeks it looks likely to hang onto the seasonal lead until American Idol and 24 arrive and its annual spring ratings beatdowns resume (minus the huge boost that NBC will get from the 2 week Winter Olympics). The adults 25-54 and average viewership rankings looks much the same as they did last week, with CBS leading both.

Unfortunately, the Thankgiving week caused some of our regular data to not arrive, so we don't have an update for the season to date adults 18-34 data (although based on the weekly results Fox is certain to have maintained its lead).

You can see past week's broadcast network primetime season to date average TV ratings results here.

Ratings Increase / Decrease: 2009-10 Season vs. 2008-9 Season

Unfortunately, the Thankgiving holiday interrupted our regular data providing comparisons to last season's averages. I expect we will see the information again next week

Each rating point is a percentage of the US TV population in that demographic group and equals: 2.90 million viewers, 1.32 million adults 18-49, 0.68 million adults 18-34 and 1.24 million adults 25-54.

Note that the chart includes RATINGS not VIEWERSHIP as was typical in our weekly network ratings posts prior to July, 2009.

It will be interesting for once to see the ratings for prime time in a table like this but to compare only 8-10 pm (and to see if FOX still scores this good of a ratings compared with other networks)
