The “Monday Night Wars” will return!!!

Maybe someday they will return, but I doubt this will be anywhere close. The TNA ratings are quite sad compared to WWE, and I doubt this will be any different.

According to WWE statistics, Stone Cold Steve Austin is the biggest name in pro-wrestling history, Steve Austin currently holds the records for merchadise sales, highest PPV buyrates, highest TV ratings, and has sold more tickets then any other pro-wrestler to date. Stone Cold Steve Austin is the biggest draw pro wrestling has had to date.

  4. And Stone Cold Steve Austin is on Chuck season 3 episode 5 on January 25th!

Austin has done more business in a short period than anyone, but Hogan has done more business in the long run because Austin’s career was cut short.

As a wrestling fan I really can’t wait for that night although they should’ve waited a week due to the Fiesta Bowl on FOX. The Monday Night Wars were back in the 90s and even had an effect on Monday Night Football during the ’97, ’98, and ’99 seasons.

I really hope TNA sticks with their guns and decides to do this permanently later in the year. TNA will benefit from being live but they need to be in bigger arenas as TNA has always looked cheap compared to the WWE. It will help Raw a little more creative wise to jump on their successes with the guest hosts experiment.
