THE SEASON FINALE OF "THE Amazing Race 15" POSTS LARGEST AUDIENCE OF THE SEASON
Last night's season finale of THE Amazing Race 15, won by Meghan and Cheyne, delivered the largest audience of the season and notched across-the-board increases over last year's finale, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Sunday Dec. 6.
From 8:00-9:00PM, THE Amazing Race 15 was second in households (7.1/11), viewers (12.32m), adults 25-54 (4.6/10) and adults 18-49 (3.7/09). This is THE Amazing Race 15's best households and viewers deliveries this season and matches the best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 performances. Compared to last year's finale (on the same night last year), THE Amazing Race was up +15% in both households (from 6.2/09) and adults 25-54 (from 4.0/09), +19% in adults 18-49 (from 3.1/08) and added +1.81m viewers (from 10.51m, +17%).
dumb white couple won, AGAIN! UGH! the brothers were so close. they needed must had should had WON! damn! but great suspenful finale. worst winners of ar in a while. last season my favs didnt win but i was ok with the winners. this season not so much.anyone but the white couple. ugh.
Please, stop complaining that a white team one. Lord. And if Sam & Dan had won how many people would complain that an all male team won.
Meghan & Cheyne raced a better season then any of the teams, and the won on a final leg that didn’t feature any bunching. There is nothing to complain about. Period.
LOL. Wow sebastian tell us how you really feel. I was ok with them winning, they did win 5 legs of 12. Pretty incredible. I was rooting for the brothers, but something must have happened at the final road block counting the poker chips. They came into that task significantly ahead. They seemed to crack under the pressure.
What I really liked was the “flash-back” road block involving the hay bales. Since there was a graphic for that special road block, I’m guessing they have more in mind in future seasons.
Let’s hope the numbers hold up and they get to 20 seasons as has Survivor.
I wanted the brothers to win too, but M&S did win almost every leg of the race, and they started that last task in third place and went finished in first, so you’ve got to give them credit. I’m happy for them.
Thank God those idiots brothers did not win. The only 2 things they did OK was scream at each other and backstub other teams. The most deserving team won. Too bad Harlem Glopbethroters did not participate in the final 3. That would make it very interesting. Instead we had to watch the whining beauty queen and two morons.
I’m just a dumb white guy but I’m very happy to see the show doing so well. It was on the bubble for a long time but seems to have found it’s place. It’s kinda cool to know that out there somewhere around the world, as I write this reply, another season is being run.
Deserving, but still pretty dull winners.
Oh well, there’s always next season. At least the show’s faring damn well now.

You do understand that many teams lie to other teams (for example just off the episodes Meghan & Cheyne lied to 2 teams (at different times). Once over a cab, and once over working with the Trotters. (sound familiar).
And to help CBS with their PR its the best performance for a season ender since Dec 2006 (the 10th cycle’s end).
I really wanted the Globe Trotters to be in the final and to win. I think they played the best race – they were fair, they were calm, they did not scream at each other and they showed good sportsmanship. I did not want the brothers to win because I could not tolerate their screaming at each other constantly. I also applaud Erika and Brian for being calm with each other and not bickering.
I did not find the Globetrotters to be good sports. I recall them atagonizing Mika when she was scared to go down the slide. And moaning and groaning that they were elbowed by the brothers when all four were running to the finish line after the mud volley ball game. They seemed like they wanted to be carried through the race.
I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED WHEN THE GLOBE TROTTERS WERE ELIMINATED!!
MY SECOND CHOICE WAS BRYAN & ERICKA… ONCE AGAIN DISAPOINTED AFTER THE GREAT LEAD THEY HAD ON THE OTHER 2 TEAMS. STILL, GREAT SEASON!!

if you’ve watched the complete season guys meghan and cheyne were the most focused among all the teams. and being focused was the reason for their victory. its not because of the color of their skins that they’ve won come on!!!! and to say that they are dumb couple proved that some of you didnt even see the entire season…thats ugh! for me!!!
The good news was the race was not won by having a fast cab. But we knew the brothers could not count and they proved it again. Same for the married couple. She had so much trouble with the bells and even with the water pipes. But the main kick was trying to be taller in the jump. The person on the cord has nothing to do but grab. If they want to go higher they have to pull down more. That is the other person’s job. It is a pity they did not see the physics of it all.
But in the future see if they know what country Monaco is in. That should set them up for a win.
my god if we dared say that stupid black couple we wouldn’t hear the end of it…how rude people are…can’t you just say I was really hoping the other team would have won…what is wrong with people today!
I didn’t like this season much simply because it was so dull. The bickering boys, the I am Miss America and I am black woman who just would not let up on her husband, the barbie couple (and they were strong) were just dull. The Globe Trotters were OK except that the big fella just did not have patience (and lets face it how duh- umb do you have to be to not get Franz – and then to take a penaly – if I were the little fella I would have freaked kudos for him for not doing so). I love this show but it became boring – blonde power v’s brothers bickering v’s Miss America pinched faced pursed lips screeching “BRIAN!” at least the GT’s gave it a bit of life. Surely next time they can get competitors who don’t want to bleed all over the floor (who gives a damn whose parents accept whom – it is a RACE not f***** Oprah). Personality; grit; a bit of fun – no more self exploration crap PLEASE

The brothers got on my nerves,I wanted to slap them.
I don’t know why I watch this show, first few episodes I couldn’t get attached to any of them.
