mmmm… It feels like DH has gotten softer than in the first and second seasons. Where is the real drama, tension with important people actually getting killed or die of something.

But i still liked this episode, especially the scences of katherine and Susan. Hopefully the mystery will gain momentum and progress faster.

On a side note: I really think this will be the last season for katherine, cause she was signed for 3 seasons.

I loved last night episode of Desperate Housewives. But this season “disaster” was extremely stupid. i thought the frikin plane was gonna crash into Bree’s house! but no, it parked on the middle of the street. LAME!

Mark, do a better job next season!!!!!! and make REAL drama!

Jim, Fox “adjusted” nothing. Every other week they get the “late” afternoon national game. When it runs long (which is not unusual) it goes into primetime in the Eastern/Central time zones. It works *exactly* the same for CBS on the alternate weeks, and their “tired” Sunday line up needs the overrun a lot more than Fox’s.

I have noticed that FOX has adjusted its start times for football to 4:15 to ensure a runover into primetime. That little half hour helps its tired cartoon lineup.

The Amazing Race did fantastic, and agreed, it was a great season, Desperate Housewives also did great because of heavy promo-ing for the plane crash, Plus, It probably didn’t hurt that FOX’s Animation Domination was all re-runs, Folks tuned in to something else.

Well done The Amazing Race, CBS saving grace on Sundays, with TAR gone next week, CBS would suffer big time. Great to see TAR is no longer it used to be for years and the ratings are now on par with Survivor!

Good for B&S after getting 2.9 last time, it’s a great improvement of course thanks to DH’s plane crash stunt, I agree the show tends to be over dramatic but the cast is really great so I’m happy it does well. I’m not sure if it could stand on its own though so ABC will just let that show stay there because ABC has more problems on other days and they wont mess up with Sundays that is working for them.

It’s a repeat and it did as well as Three Rivers. Now TR was horrible, so bar wasn’t set too high.
This does give you alittle thought into what CBS might be thinking next year, but yeah too early.
It’s CBS blackhole night, so it did well by there standards.
Sort of like Fringe on Thursday, are NBC outside of Sunday, Tuesday.

The reason for the AFV encore’s amazingly high ratings may be that people really enjoyed last year’s Christmas-themed episode (which aired on a Tuesday night against an original House) and wanted to see it again this year. Regardless, those numbers are impressive when you consider these factors: 1) the rerun kept the same demo as when it originally aired (2.0/5) but managed to build in total viewers (8.19m on 12/6/09 vs. 7.28m on 12/9/08), 2) this episode can be seen on sister network ABC Family and in syndication on WGN America.

Its still too early for NCIS: LA to do well on its own, its fan base needs to grow and that’s going to take more time than most shows mainly b/c the show has to get out of the shadow of NCIS.

For the first time all season I did not watch Sunday Night Football. I just thought the game was way too overrated to watch. Neither the Vikes or Cards catch my attention as two teams worth watching. CBS needs to hurry up and get their doubleheader next week b/c if I have to listen to FOX’s announcers one more time I might break my TV screen. FOX has horrible football coverage, CBS has the best.

I remember how nervous I was years ago that “Amazing Race” would not be renewed, and it was airing precariously as solely an expensive summer series in 2003 and 2004. Then it won the first Reality Competition Emmy and has won every Emmy since then! Now, finally, after 8 years, the show seems to be more solid and popular than ever! There are strong rumors that the next edition of the Amazing Race is taping right now, between Thanksgiving and Christmas, and that sweethearts Jeff and Jordan from “Big Brother 11″ are among the contestants.

Cold Case is done, its just burning off episodes. CBS’s choice for sundays at 10, like Ive stated several times are Flashpoint and Miami Trauma. I think Flashpoint will be better for a few reasons.

1. The series has 22 episodes, so it can run in the slot from Jan-May, repeat free (if possible)
2. It would be stupid for CBS to schedule another new series (Miami Trauma) in the post Cold Case slot, since Miami Trauma may fare better airing post NCIS LA.
3. With Flashpoint airing sundays, once Numb3rs ends in Feb, CBS can move The Good Wife to air 10pm fridays in March and then sched Miami Trauma for Tuesdays.

I was expecting at least a 5.0 from Desperate Housewives! Last nights episode was amazing! So dramatic and fun. Left you on a cliffhanger, so hopefully January ratings for episode 11 wont be too low. Although it’s pretty obvious who died (or maybe it just is for me since I read spoilers haha).

But well done Housewives! I hope the second half of the season is even better then the first.

Yes, Bill, football definitely gave FOX that edge towards victory. The race for the first-in-demo crown may yet be adjusted based on the final numbers for NBC, which has 2.5 hours of football vs. just 45m for FOX.

Also, I expect ABC to go up by about 0.1 once the Dr. Pepper Big 12 Championship edition of ‘Saturday Night College Football’ final numbers come in.

Solid performance by TAR. Great to see it doing so well these days.

And yeah, the sixteenth season is currently taping, and a couple of teams have already been leaked, including yet another couple from a CBS reality show. Guess they’re hoping to snag another Rob and Amber, though I doubt this couple will bring the fans and debates that Romber.

At least the show has a few more years in it still.

Brothers & Sisters should really improve once football is over. Also as long as CBS is in repeats, they should do well. Expect CBS to schedule Flashpoint at 10pm sundays. They have 22 episodes ready, they may as well air them.

Desperate Housewives used to be my fav show, but these silly plots with tornadoes (last season) and now airplane crashes!! Jeez!!! Great shows are about the CHARACTERS not gimmicks or stunt casting. Take a page from the 80′s with “Dallas” and “Knots Landing”!!!

I was actually disapointed in the Hyped up DH Episode. I expected alot more. The Plane crash was very amateur, probably cost the scene $1.98 to shoot. I expected better. This Show is so showing its age

Sorry, but I watch “Brothers & Sisters” too, and I agree it does have a tendency to be over dramatic. The writing isn’t all that great either. I really tune in, because of the acting. Plus I love Kevin & Scotty.

The size of the plane annoyed me when I first the promo. But having a plane that flies a banner, that Karl ordered, crash is MUCH more realistic than a random big plane crashing.

I seriously loved the episode, and not because of the plane crash, btw. I swear, if Dana doesn’t get her Emmy for this episode, I’m seriously going to be annoyed the hell out of.

# Doug. I guess they are staying away from the Winter Olympics. Yes, TAR was close to cancellation way back there. This shows how CBS is (or is that was) willing to build a show that they think has promise, particularly in the unscripted. Their unscripted has been fairly stable over a long period with Survivor, TAR and I hate to say it, Big Brother. They continue to get decent numbers with all three.

I loved the TAR finale this season. Great camera work on the road block at the Mandalay Bay. You can see why they win Emmys.

B&S is the second best tv shown on tv right now. somebody made fun of how dramatic it is, well its a DRAMA! but anyways the drama in b&s is the most realistic of any show. it deals with familiar beleivable storylines. the cast for it its amazing. you dont see actors playing them, but you feel like your wacthing a real family being captured on film. you have the feeling that this is a real family. and the drama is grounded and real. its the anti greys anatomy. and yesterdays episode was the BEST THIS SEASON! and like a typical b&s episode had me crying my heart out. i actually did cried. and smiling the next second. b7s is an emotinal roller coaster. its so AAMAZING! people in here are always chearing for dh ive noticed. why? when b%s is the better show. dh used to be my fav show long time ago. now i still wacth it cause of the fact ive become so used to it sitting sundays at 9 and turning it on. but when i started wacthing b&s in season two. the show has AMAZINGLY HELD UP unlike dh. dh went down the drain this season its ok at best. yesteray i was really excited for but looked so cheap and horrible. while b&s along with another show is the most consistent show ive ever seen. per episode basis its amazing week after week. and never has fallen flat. congrats to b&s the best DRAMA IN TV! and if anything should have people more excited than dh.

ps. last night was amazing. and the ending to b&s OMFG!

Realme I suspect the Brothers & Sisters drop is less people specifically tuning out of Brothers & Sisters but more a result of a Desperate Housewives over run. It’ll likely drop when that’s stripped out in the finals.

This season of The Amazing Race was the absolute best in years. It’s great to see it perform well.

I guess Cold Case did ok again too. Better than it was doing a few weeks ago. It’s not “new season” ok, but maybe just “not get pulled from the schedule” ok.

Was this the plane crash show for Desperate Housewives? That seems like reaching for storylines. Must be out of material. How does Brothers & Sisters manage to do well, it’s just OTT, overdramtic fluff since S2.
