Fox can thank the Giants/Cowboys overrun in to Sunday primetime for a little extra boost  that allowed them to sweep the 3 main adult demographic ratings groups for week 11 of the broadcast primetime ratings season. None of the broadcast networks, however, will be breaking out the champagne over their overall results from last week though. CBS, as is typical, topped the average primetime viewership for the week.

Note that the chart includes RATINGS not VIEWERS as was typical in our weekly network ratings posts prior to July, 2009.

Each rating point is a percentage of the US TV population in that demographic group and equals: 2.90 million viewers, 1.32 million adults 18-49, 0.68 million adults 18-34 and 1.24 million adults 25-54.

    is NBC actually beating something?

  2. daniel patrick, since the 3 hours of Sunday Night Football never go into repeats it keeps NBC’s numbers up as long as its football season, and NBC looks relatively better once the other guys go into repeats.
