  1. This comes alongside the news that Stu Lantz will take off six Laker broadcasts beginning Friday due to his wife’s surgery. For those that don’t know, Stu Lantz is the longtime commentator for the Lakers, a job Pat Reilly had until Lakers announcer Chick Hearn convinced Pat to become a coach. Replacing Lantz will be former Lakers commentator and Longtime Jazz announcer “Hot” Rod Hundley.

Has Bill shrunk? I seem to remember him being like 12 feet tall.

  3. Joe

Bill Walton is still 12 feet tall, but he has retired from TV broadcasting of NBA games due to severe back problems. I’ll have to record that episode; can’t wait to see what they’ll be doing. Also, it’s (Pat) Riley, not Reilly. I think you’re watching too much of Bill on FOX News!

  4. aok

Bill Walton: The man who led the team that won Portland Oregon’s only NBA championship.

  5. Unfortunately, Bill Walton was always injured.
