The movie was pretty good. Wizards of waverly place is my favorite show. Icarly is my second favorite.

  2. Trev

iCarly edges out Wizards in quality, IMO. And this episode of iCarly was a real good one.

iCarly is a 70s/80s type sitcom that’s being broadcasted in the now. I think b/c of that its seeing a lot of success. I’m surprised there’s not one sitcom on the broadcasters like iCarly. All the sitcoms out there now are either smart single-cams or adult sitcoms. Nothing in the middle like an iCarly brings. If iCarly was on NBC it porbably be getting 14 million viewers a week.

  4. TomKH

CBS needs to move iCarly to Wednsday 8PM. It already outrates Old Christine.

CBS needs to move iCarly to Wednsday 8PM. It already outrates Old Christine.

I agree, LMFAO! It also outrates Modern Family on ABC, Accidentally on Purpose and every comedy on NBC.

  6. THATS WAS THE BEST SHOW IN A LONG TIME. THAT WAS SO FUNNY WHEN CARLY THROW A ROLL AT THE OLD LADY. WHERE YOU GUYS RELLEY MAD AT EACH OTHER.

iCarly is smart, well written, funny show. Simple as that. Dsn Schneider (Dennis, from Head of the Class) is the creator of the show. You’ll notice little throwbacks to the 80′s, custom made “Penny Tees” the cast randomly wear (with sayings such as “Special Ham” or “DanWarp Tweets” (Schneider’s Twitter name, and the best is when they make fun of current products/stores.

The strength of this show is not only the main characters (Carly, Sam and Freddie), but also the secondary characters: Gibby and Spencer, played by Jerry Trainor. Trainor’s comedic timing is fantastic. He is hilarious.

Watch the show, if you haven’t already. It really is that good. It is a fresh concept. My favorite episodes are iPie and iSpeed Date.

By the way – I am a 38 yr old female and a computer programmer. The only other show I ever watch on TV is Survivor. I don’t watch any other show – especially on the networks. It just doesn’t interest me.

Well, iCarly may not bring the 18-49 numbers a broadcast network needs since majority of the viewers are kids

  9. Trev

I know a few 20 year olds (like myself) that love the show. Also, plenty of high schoolers watch iCarly too, so it’s not just watched by kids.

  10. BlueLick

Its definitely not watched just by kids, as a matter of fact the reason why the show scores so large is due to the fact that its watched by a lot of people over 18. iCarly would do better on a broadcaster in the demos.

  11. the iCarly special was was top 20 with ad-supported basic cable for the week in adults 18-49. It was #18, ahead of shows like Jets vs. Bills, Pawn Stars, House of Payne, and Intervention

  12. BlueLick

Those demo audiences are huge. A good 2-4 million viewers on average in the most important demos for iCarly. iCarly is advertiser friendly as you know when you top the NFL you’ve got something special.

With iCarly being this potent right now, I would like to see the broadcasters immulate a program like this that aims at kids but is suitable for older audiences to appreciate. Something similar to The Facts of Life.

I watch icarly with my grandchildren and I myself love this show.
