Univision #1 Network in the Country in Overall Prime

For the 8th Time in the 2009/10 Season among Adults 18-34

NPM Broadcast Prime Highlights Week of 11/30/09

•      Univision was the #1 network in the country on Friday night among all Adults 18-34 (1.1 million); making it the 8th time the network is in the top position in the current season.  Additionally, the network ranked #1 among Teens 12-17 (278,000) and #2 among Adults 18-49 (2.0 million) on Friday night.

•      The Top 3 Programs on Friday night among Adults 18-34 were on Univision with #1 “Sortilegio” (Love Spell), #2 “En Nombre del Amor” (In the Name of Love) and #3 “La Rosa de Guadalupe” (The Rose of Guadalupe).  Additionally, “Sortilegio” (Love Spell) was the #2 most watched program on Friday night among Adults 18-49 and Teens 12-17.

•      Univision was one of the top 3 broadcast networks in primetime on 2 other nights among Adults 18-34 (#2 Monday, #3 Wednesday) and on 3 nights among Teens 12-17 (#2 on Tuesday & Wednesday, #3 Thursday).

•      Univision finished the week as the 5th most-watched network in primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (3.6 million), Adults 18-49 (1.8 million), Adults 18-34 (973,000) and Teens 12-17 (227,000), out-delivering CW.  Additionally, Univision was the #1 network in overall primetime among Kids 2-11 (513,000).

•      Univision out-delivered ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX on 4 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-34, on 5 out of 7 nights among Teens 12-17 and on 2 nights among Adults 18-49.

•      Last week, “En Nombre del Amor” (In the Name of Love) made Univision the #4 ranked network in the M-F 8-9pm hour among Adults 18-34 (1.2 million), delivering more viewers than ABC, CW and Telemundo.  Additionally, among Women 18-34(777,000) Univision was the #2 network in the 8pm hour behind FOX.

•      “Sortilegio” (Love Spell) helped Univision rank as the #3 network in the M-F 9-10pm hour among Adults 18-34 (1.4 million), beating ABC, CBS, CW and Telemundo.  The novela was the #1 choice for Teens 12-17 (317,000) in 9pm hour, out-delivering it’s closest competitor, FOX, by +10% and ranked #2 among Women 18-34 (955,000).

•      “Sortilegio’s” (Love Spell) Monday telecast was one of the Top 30 programs for the week among Adults 18-34 and among Teens 12-17 four telecasts of “Sortilegio” (Tuesday to Friday) were in the Top 30, beating the CW’s entire primetime lineup last week.

•      “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) delivered more Adults 18-34 (469,000) than Saturday night’s telecasts of CBS’s “Crimetime” (Sat 8pm), “48 Hours Mystery” (9pm Special) and NBC’s special presentation of “Parks and Recreation” (Saturday, December 5).
