I haven’t watched a 1 hour drama on network TV in years, but I might actually check this out. The cast line-up is too impressive to ignore.
Except Dax Shepard(how in hell did he get here), this is all-star cast(by TV standards). This is my most anticipated show in years.
It might get big ratings.

You are comparing apples and oranges. And considering production team behind this show, I would not call it lame. These guys do quality stuff.

It may be a dumb question, but where and when is it airing, Mondays at 9 or Wednesday at 8? I know it was scheduled for Wednesdays, but with Mercy’s extra episodes, con they both fit on Wednesdays.
Ken I would be amazed if this aired Wednesday nights opposite Idol, it seems to be NBC’s most promising new show in a long time in the sense that I don’t immediately hate it and with the production team behind it I can’t imagine NBC is going to feed it to Idol (that seems to be what the extra Mercy episodes are for). It will however be interesting to see where this lands and how it performs.
I can’t believe they made me watch advertisements that were longer than the promos…..
This could be interesting, I especially liked the second trailer. I think I may give this show a few test episodes.

I mean, it’s overwhelmingly likely to end up at Mondays 9pm, but there hasn’t been a formal announcement yet, has there?
Was excited about the cast, but Lauren Graham? Damn. What a downgrade. I’ll still be watching for Dax.
Lauren Graham a bad actress? Lauren Graham’s not a bad actress at all . Have you not seen her on Gilmore Girls? She was great on that show.
They should put this on Sundays at 8. Virtually no competition and they have nothing better to put on the night.
NBC should have a special Biggest Loser airing as a lead in when this show premieres
The only open slots Futon shows for NBC in spring 2010 are Monday at 9 and Sunday at 8.
I don’t see Parenthood faring well in the demo in that Monday slot against a wall of Top 20 shows — 24, The Bachelor, and Two and a Half Men/Big Bang Theory — but there’s not many other places to put it on NBC’s crappy-but-overblocked schedule.
Sunday at 8 makes more sense.
It’s hard to find slots with competitive advantages when 10 is out five nights a week (Leno), Tuesday is out (Biggest Loser for 2 hours), Thursday is out (comedies), and Friday is a graveyard (L&O, Dateline).
That leaves Monday (a bad night to launch because ABC, CBS and FOX all do well), Wednesday (a bad night to launch because Idol eats the demo at 8 and NBC does OK with SVU at 9), and Sunday (which looks more promising).
Lauren Graham is a great actress! How can you call her a downgrade! Watch Gilmore Girls and tell me any other actress who could do it better than her – no one could have. And Lauren Graham was even nominated for Golden Globes due to her work on Gilmore Girls.
This looks pretty good. I think I’ll watch it =) It just better not air Wednesdays at 10 because I’ll be watching Ugly Betty haha
