Everyone seems to be going down a little bit, probably because of the holidays.

Big Loser: Keith Overbite. How low do you think he’ll have to go before they pull the plug on him??? Ever??? Do the owners and stockholders of NBC look at his show on a steady basis and say, “yeah, that’s just the kind of quality news we want”. Does anyone, besides himself, think anything he says is funny??? We need a timer to see how many viewers drop in while channel surfing and drop out 2 minutes later. HOW LONG DOES THE AVERAGE VIEWER WATCH HIM, BEFORE MAKING A MAD SCRAMBLE FOR THE BATHROOM TO EITHER BARF OF TO RELIEVE A BAD CASE OF THE “SUDDEN RUNS”.

  3. JC

I really hope Comcast make radical changes to NBC.

  4. Radical may be a more appropriate word than you think for that kind of change.

  5. Sticky

Considering Comcast came out in favor of Obamacare literally one day after the acquiring NBC Universal, I doubt very much that we’ll see much ideological change in NBC overall. Expect this to continue.

  6. Ben

Keith Overbite is in free fall, like the leader of these left wing democrats. He does have company in Brown and Grace, but his fall is spectacular. The leftists are in diarray.

  7. VJM

What is interesting is that the libs have all gone back down to pre-2008 election levels, whereas O’Reilly has improved is overall share from 2008. This means that more people are paying attention to the right network. (No pun intended.)

  8. bruce

Those youthful voters who were energized by Obama and watched liberal cable news have vanished. They’re back to watching Cartoon Network and doing the Facebook-Twitter thing.

  9. bruce

I hope Comcast stays the course on NBC and leaves it alone. It couldn’t get much worse for NBC and MSNBC.

  10. Mary Lou Hamm

Left Leaning people dont need a talking head to tell them their marching orders, thats why the Fox news show are so high rated, those people need someone to tell them what to do and how to think, left leaning viewers think for themselves

  11. Garrett

Wow, Mary Lou. You must belong to Mensa, with that intellectual insight. Take your meds, dear.

  12. Mary Lou Hamm

Wow Garrett, when in doubt insult right? i am just expressing my opinion, you are expressing your intellect, nice try

  13. StartAskingToughQuestions

Wow, Mary Lou, talk about those in glass houses not throwing stones! Did you think “…those people need someone to tell them what to do and how to think…” wasn’t an insult??!!?? By the way, who are “those people”… sounds a bit like a generalized, bigoted slur of some sort to me.

Let’s examine the behaviors and results of the two:

Fox News is asking tough questions of the administration, acting as a “watch dog” for the American public, and their ratings are climbing.

The others are doing all they can to prop up an increasingly unpopular administration (the President’s numbers are falling almost weekly), acting as a “lap dog”, and their ratings are falling.

    Coincidence? Probably not.

  14. astonerii

Comcast has already proven they will be lapdogs to democrats when they allowed Barack Obama a 1 hour infomercial on Obama Care while simultaneously rejecting paid advertisements against said same bill.

  15. Demonjoe

There should never be insults in a debate. When people start to insult each other the debate ends there and the insulter loses.

  16. fred

mary lou. i agree with you. liberals do NOT need a tv dolt like ober-dork to tell them what to do. they have a president to do that. ya know, that whole “question authority” thing has kinda gone out o’ fashion for those free thinking anarchist liberals. they are kinda goose stepping now to the totus. yes, you are correct. olbermann has no appeal for those free-thinkers. peace sister.

and thank god they put that doofus on tv every night, olbermann. please i am begging keep his insane ranting on everyday, forever. it should be required watching for all mid-term voters……”your dem rep (blue dog, ahem?) is a toady for pelosi, reid and BHO…and THIS guy is their ‘murrow’!! vote accordingly, dear voter….vote accordingly…..”

  17. Sara Jessup

Mary Lou Hamm, you really just showed your ignorance! Very nice SATQ!

Every time the ratings come out the liberals come up with another excuse as to why they are dominated. I can’t wait until 2010 when the tides turn and these crooks are all thrown out of office. Hopefully Keith Overbite and Rachel Madcow go with him.

  18. Big al

    mary hamm….

You insult everyone who watches Fox in one post then condemn it in the next. You are the typical liberal hypocrite whose head is so far up your @ss that you need to install a porthole where your belly button is just so you can see where your going!

    You liberals are psychologically damaged.

  19. Vince In AZ

Judging by the growth curve for FOX and the decline curve for KO I would make the logical leap that people are watching KO and deciding they are getting fed BS and switch channels to get the truth. At least they are searching for both sides of the story instead partisan talking heads agreeing with each other. Just a guess.

  20. I think what I find most stunning is that no one is copying this FOX model. In business don’t we all see what is profitable and try to steal some of those ideas from our competitor, that is if they WANT to make money. I understand that profit somehow equals greed to these types of thinkers,(I use the word loosely), but if no profit, then no taxes, and if no taxes, then no handouts, or roads, or public health care, or, god help us, no Military.

I think the 1/2 black side got him in, but the 1/2 white side will get him thrown out.
