Now the longest-running comedy in television history, THE Simpsons immediately struck a chord with viewers across the country as it poked fun of itself and everything in its wake. With its subversive humor and delightful wit, the series has made an indelible imprint on American pop culture, and the family members have become television icons. Adding to its list of prestigious accolades, THE Simpsons was nominated this year for five Emmy Awards, including one win for Dan Castellaneta as Outstanding Voiceover Performer; five Writers Guild Awards; and four Annie Awards, including Best Animated Television Production.
THE Simpsons is a Gracie Films Production in association with 20th Century Fox Television. James L. Brooks, Matt Groening and Al Jean are the executive producers. Film Roman, a Starz Media Company, is the animation house.

Awesome, I hope Sky1 does something similar in the UK.
I hope the simpsons makes it long after the 21st season and I hope it goes back to it’s original fame and it beats house and Family Guy (I love the two though)
Yes the Simpsons is still in my DVR series manager but being honest this show is just not that funny anymore. Sure Homer might come up with a classic line once in a blue moon but back in the day this show was the funniest and smartest written comedy on TV BAR NONE. Water cooler almost each and every Monday morn. Pains me to see what has happened to the once great show. Time to hang it up FOX
Not since ABC’s “TV is Good” image promo campaign will the broadcast airwaves have been so awash in yellow.
Glad to see ‘The Simpsons’ have endured so long and so well. I keep hoping some network will revive ‘The Tracey Ullman Show’, even in encores, so I can see once again how this series started up as those little filler bits on her program.
While I have enjoyed the Simpsons over the last 20 years, I am a bit bored by the fact that FOX will milk this for all it is worth. The network has good programming but c’mon. For some reason, the 18-34 year olds would tune to FOX with a test pattern.
I LOVE THE SIMPSONS!!!
That episode will get huge ratings.
