via press release:
This winter, USA brings the heat with four nights of original programming. Beginning on Mondays with WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW, continuing on Tuesdays with the return of USA’s newest hit on an all-new night, WHITE COLLAR, followed by Wednesday’s comedic “private eye” duo of Shawn Spencer and Burton "Gus" Guster in PSYCH and returning to Thursdays, one of the hottest shows on television, BURN NOTICE.
WHITE COLLAR
WHITE COLLAR stars Matt Bomer, Tim DeKay, Tiffani Thiessen, Willie Garson and Natalie Morales in one of this fall season’s most critically acclaimed dramas about the most unlikely of partnerships between a con artist and an FBI agent. The hit show kicks off the second half of season one with seven new episodes on a brand-new night beginning Tuesday, January 19 at 10/9c. The premiere episode begins where the fall season cliffhanger left off with the tables turned between Neal (Bomer) and Peter (DeKay). After going deep into the underworld of corrupt Wall Street brokers, the question remains as to whose side PETER is really on? The season then kicks into action with high-impact episodes of black market organ harvesting and mortgage fraud, including a memorable episode with Neal’s face-to-face confrontation with an old rival. The season ends on a high note with one of the hottest episodes to date, showcasing Neal in a skinny-dipping scene amidst a suspenseful heist that he hopes will help him get Kate back. WHITE COLLAR also features Sharif Atkins and James Rebhorn with Diahann Carroll returning as June, Alexandra Daddario as Kate and Noah Emmerich as the mysterious Fowler. WHITE COLLAR ended the first half of the season in record-breaking form delivering a season high 6.8 million total viewers.
PSYCH
PSYCH broke all records as the #1 original series premiere in 2006 and has since become a cult favorite starring James Roday as young police consultant Shawn Spencer who solves crimes with powers of observation so acute the precinct detectives think he's psychic. Dulé Hill stars as Shawn's best friend and reluctant sidekick, Gus and Corbin Bernsen as Shawn's father, Henry. Timothy Omundson, Maggie Lawson and Kirsten Nelson also star. PSYCH returns with seven new episodes on a new night beginning Wednesday, January 27 at 10/9c. Shawn and Gus will find themselves in precarious yet funny situations when they tackle investigations involving the Army, the CDC and rafting on white water rapids. Shawn stars in his own Hitchcock episode as he is targeted by a killer using classic scenarios from the master of suspense in "Mr. Yin Presents," co-written and directed by Roday. Guest stars include WWE superstar John Cena, Stacey Kiebler, Sarah Shahi, Craig Sheffer, Jeri Ryan, Michael Hogan, Judd Nelson and Ally Sheedy returns as the Yin Yang Killer. PSYCH is one of the seven original series that made USA #1 in basic-cable for four years in a row.
This sexy action-packed show starring Jeffrey Donovan as Michael Westen, a blacklisted spy who finds himself stranded in sun-soaked Miami, returns in January with all-new episodes beginning Thursday, January 21 at 10/9c. Heating up the night with our hot undercover agent are Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar), a beautiful ex-IRA operative who also happens to be Michael’s ex-girlfriend; Sam (Bruce Campbell), a washed-up military intelligence contact who keeps an eye on Michael for the Feds; and his mother (Emmy Award-winner Sharon Gless). Burn Notice remains one of the hottest dramas on television and the #1 series in P18-49 and P25-54. This season, Michael takes on a violent con man in the series premiere, "A Dark Road" and later gets tangled with Columbian drug cartels and a black ops sociopath. It all culminates in the strongest season finale to date that will leave you hanging by your seat as Michael realizes he needs his friends more than ever when the FBI is hot on his trail. Gless will be reunited with her former "Cagney & Lacey" partner Tyne Daly in the season premiere, and Carlos Bernard and Garrett Dillahunt will also guest star. Tim Matheson returns as Larry and Seth Peterson as Michael's brother, Nate.

Burn Notice will be a one to watch, competing with The Mentalist and Private Practice – both strong 10pm shows.
Be interesting to see if White Collar can pride some of the audience away from Jay Leno on a Tuesday night.
Psych seems to have the best night (up against Ugly Betty and the lowest rated CSI), yet it is the weakest program in terms of ratings.
Does anyone know the logic behind moving Psych from Fridays? Seems like it’s been doing well there for quite some time.
Kathy, USA thinks they can compete with broadcast Tues-Thurs at 10 pm. Personally, I think they are wrong, and they are leaving shows that have until now depended on a lead-in to stand up on their own, against real competition. But maybe I’m wrong. USA should be able to beat Leno in the demo at least some of the time.
Thanks, Julia. I suspected that might be the case. It will be interesting to see how that plays out.
The USA PR team needs to catch up on Burn Notice. Sam hasn’t worked for the Feds since season 1.
Really looking forward to how they resolve the White Collar twist.
My efforts paid off! Yay! I used my voodoo doll against USA to give their executives boils on their faces, and it worked! Then, I told them I’d take away the boils if they canceled Monk and moved the rest of their programming off of Friday nights! And they did! Yay! It’s just a Joss-darn shame it didn’t happen sooner!
Dollhouse forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever!
My mind landed in the gutter at “Neal skinny-dipping scene.” *thud*
Those three shows are USA’s best, I’m surprised they haven’t thrown in a new show too.
JANUARY 4
WWE vs. TNA PART 1
WWE has been HORRIBLE lately (aside from a great MSG show a few weeks ago)
but January 4ths ratings will be higher than normal.
I just caught up with White Collar after having it on my DVR for a couple weeks. Wow am I impressed, USA knows how to make entertaining tv. I love the comedy that USA shows have, Burn Notice, Royal Pains, and White Collar are all on my must see list now (Royal Pains a little less than the others) I plan on catching up with Pysch based on the great quality of the other show on the network
