wow critically acclaimed hit
On which planet ? :->
It has to get better at some point, doesn’t it? I’ll watch it and be instantly in despair once I realise how inane their characters are. Again.
Too bad, it had such great premise, I like the idea but the execution has fallen short!
I think that whenever a serialized show like this takes a long hiatus it usually takes a hit in the ratings.
Heck by then I will forget the story and will probably not even bother to watch.
Here’s how smart this show is. They took dream-girl Penny from Lost and turned her into a frumpy, nagging, stressed out doctor. Way to go.
To put it the way tvbythenumbers guys talk, there’s zero chance of this getting another season. Meaning it probably won’t, but who knows.
I just flashed to fall 2010, Flash Forward is not on the schedule.
I watch the show, but really don’t care about it.
Yet another delay. It was supposed to return March 4. It had a 25 episode order, which means there are supposed to be 15 more hours. Does it intend to end its season during the July 4th weekend???? No one has report an episode cut, have they? It must have occurred.
Maybe ABC can sell the show to NBC. They have an extra 5 hours per week to fill starting March 1.
FF and V got 1 episode ticked off a while back making it 14 and 8 eps left for each
Just watched the pilot episode – a great premise but weak characters, so I won’t be let down if this show never sees the day of light again.
YAWN! Does anyone even care about it anymore? Not so sure I’ll even bother to watch it when it comes back. The first run was like naptime.
Dead show walking on the green mile.
The first two episodes (Mar. 18 and 25) will run opposite the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. FF will be crushed by March Madness. Starting Apr. 1, FF goes against Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains. Let the crushing continue.
That stinks that it got pushed back. I like this show. It got off to a slow start but was picking up steam as the season went along.
Love this show. I think is as good as lost. Better than NCISCSi crap any day.
I guess ABC tought “you’ve never seen anything like this” was a compliment *g*
@tks: “I think is as good as lost. Better than NCISCSi crap any day.”
Funny joke, but nobody believes a human could possibly think that.
With ratings declining on each successive episode so far, this show struggled to catch on. ABC will certainly give this a huge promo push for its March return, but unless the new creative team brings compelling storytelling, the viewers will continue to depart.
brilliant analysis ck
It’s dead. There’s been way to much filling with episodes that have little to do with the main plot. These fillers bring little to the show. The’ve had a decent story that would have been good for 16 episodes and then tried to stretch to 24 episodes and it’s ruined it. The last episode was one of the best, but that had more to do with the main plot. I even like Fiennes, Wagnur and the Kumar guy but some of the episodes send you to sleep.
Too many serialized shows have have filler episodes and often are the worst episodes of the series. You only need to look at Lost. Since the writers strike and the shortened seasons, pretty much every episode has been amazing.
I thought part of the appeal of the original schedule was to have the finale air on Thursday April 29th (the day of the flashforwards). Now they will only be at midseason by that date.
