Any numbers on how Diane Sawyer taking over ABC World News Tonight has affected its numbers?
I remember seeing some numbers. Search site for ‘Sawyer’, the search box is at the top right, above “Renew/Cancel Index”.
We’re no longer doing regular posts on Evening News ratings, but you can see the press releases with the ratings here.
This will drive that nut Keith Overbite crazy!
Palin signs deal with FOX NEWS! Sign on the dotted line and become more powerful! Countdown to Good Bye Party! Sir!
It is amusing that the perspective of most people is that cable news is driving all this ‘partisanship’ while even Fox News isn’t beating the larger Mexican news outlet (not spanish, mexican). As if the three network newscasts aren’t driving political messages? And if you’ve ever watched and/or translated Univision you’d know that there is lots and lots of politics and partisanship sitting right on the surface.
How are so many ‘smart’ people missing out that the networks still get 3-5X the ratings and even illegals are outdrawing Fox News (which then speaks to the total abomination which is MSNBC and CNN)?
^^
I think maybe you’re the one who is not getting it. This entire section is about cable news…not network news. That is why we talk about cable news here and not network news. Seems elementary to me.
