RATING RISES 14% FOR “THE NFL ON CBS” AFC WILD CARD GAME
THE NFL ON CBS’s broadcast of the AFC Wild Card game featuring the Baltimore Ravens defeating theNew England Patriots on Sunday, Jan. 1 (1:00-4:15 PM, ET) scored an average overnight household rating/share of 19.4/38, up +14% from an overnight rating/share of 17.0/35 for last year’s AFC Wild Card game on CBS between Baltimore and Miami (1:00-4:00 PM, ET).
The Baltimore-New England game rating/share peaked with a 22.6/42 (3:30-4:00 PM, ET).
The game is CBS’s highest-rated AFC Wild Card game in the metered markets since 2006 when Pittsburgh at Cincinnati earned a rating/share of 19.9/34 (4:30-7:45 PM, ET)).
