"Rita Rocks" no more.
Lifetime confirmed over the weekend that the sitcom, which starred Nicole Sullivan as a working mom who starts a garage band, had been canceled.
Lifetime aired two seasons of "Rita Rocks"; show finished up its second season in November.

Not surprised, as delightful and funny as Nicole Sullivan is, it was stale, since the middle of S!, and didn’t improve at all during S2, with the numbers to prove it.

What about Sherri? Rita Rocks was terrible, but I actually liked Sherri. Wonder when we’ll hear one way or another.

IIRC it didn’t even reach 1 million viewers in most episodes…so no surprise
Not surprised too with its ratings but I kinda like that show, well I’ve only watched some episodes of season 1 on our local cable
Watched the pilot last year. Great cast. Mediocre show. Oh well.
Pick up As the World Turns Lifetime. It has it’s own fanbase that spans 54 years
This is kind of sad. Love Nicole Sullivan, but I didnt really like the show too much.

I really enjoyed the light hearted show and am disappointed to see it go. Please bring it back!
