Big Love Premiere Gets Love From 1.73 Million

Sunday’s season four premiere of Big Love averaged 1.728 million viewers, up 49% from season three’s premiere.  The show averaged a .8/2 ratings share with adults 18-49.  While well up over last year’s premiere, it’s doing nowhere near as well as HBO’s True Blood.

Big Love’s season four premiere also trails the season four finale of Showtime’s Dexter (2.6 million viewers a series high) but, season four of Dexter premiered to only 1.5 million (a series high at the time).
