    Chuck > Everything else.

  2. Chuck really bumped it up in the final 15. I guess it’s because of people tuning out of Accidentally on Purpose.

  3. Tyson

Glad to see Chuck’s last 15 minutes rising! I hope people enjoyed the ending and saw the preview for next week!

  4. rob

Good for Castle. If it can maintain 2.5 and up, its getting renewed.

House numbers seem really low this week, I wonder what happened ? usually series due well upon their return from Christmas break, not bad numbers for Fringe, comparable to Lie to Me. Big Bang was not to shabby last night, glad to see it get great numbers, really bringin in the fans. Does anyone suppose that it will become a lead in show next season ?

  7. ljo

LOL @ Travis. I take it he was never a big fan of prime time Leno.

  8. Shem

If Chuck had an event episode like right now they would get like 9 million- some big star like Mariah Carey; falls in love with him.

  9. Robert, could you please tell me if there are any finals for last week? TravisYanan only has the finals for this Sunday and Monday.

  10. Ricardo, we have all the final ratings from last week now (as we do every Tuesday). Why do you ask?

  11. Bill, are you talking about this: “http://tvbythenumbers.com/2010/01/12/tv-ratings-pro-and-college-football-and-the-simpsons-and-ncistop-weekly-viewing/38517″?

I was talking about all shows, not only the first 25. Like you have in this post.

    Thanks.

  12. Ricardo, I have them, we ordinarily do not publish them after the fact because its not worth the time. Now that TravisYanan is back, we will continue to feature his numbers going forward when possible.

  13. Ok. Thank you.

  14. j

Eh, Leno retained most of Heroes’ 18-49 and (though it doesn’t mean that much) more people watched Leno than Heroes.

Better retention than CSI2 or Castle.

Bang’s % of 18-49 viewers is obvs sweeter’s than 2.5 since it keeps beating it with less viewers.

  15. Corey

Bill, what should we take away from those Chuck numbers? A steady decline in the first three quarters, then a sudden skyrocketing in the last quarter. Is that a normal occurence? And should we be encouraged for Chuck’s future ratings potential?

  16. ABCHasProblems

Is it just me reading the numbers incorrectly or is The Bachelor skewing a lot older this season? The Bachelor has an 11 HH share like Castle and a 9 demo share, and usually every show with a higher HH share than the demo share is older-skewing.

  17. dmr

Corey, what steady decline? Are you talking about the total viewers? I thought it was established that doesn’t matter.. If it’s true that the demo is what matters, the fact that it went up from 2.5 to 2.8 is certainly positive news.

  18. forg

Woah AoP is clearly the weak link from HIMYM’s 3.9 to 3.1 then 2.5 Men jumps to 5.4. I guess it will perform on par with Old Christine when it relocates there.

Wow at 2.5 Men’s total viewers but still Big Bang is the demo winner (I hope it would go 6.0 at some point)

Cheers to Chuck, 2.6 is good hope it stays consistent

I really don’t like The Bachelor but I’m thankful for its strong ratings, it’sa good lead in for for Castle.

Fringe did well, timeslot is indeed the problem

  19. Corey

Yeah, I was talking total viewers. I just found it interesting that it decreased in viewers throughout the night, then the number suddenly spiked. I know the demo is the only thing that really matters, but I just found the viewership trends interesting. I was wondering if that was a normal occurence in hour-long shows.

Chuck fans should be really, really happy today.
