Simpsons still did really good with 14 million viewers, even if it is a drop from the overnight ratings at 21 million.
It dropped because the football post-game was included in that 21 million average
How come the NFL over-run from last night is not in the chart?
Regardless of why, it’s still nice to see a show that’s older than Taylor Swift do so well in the ratings.
Great pic.
Good bowl numbers for ESPN to try an match next year (BCS).
What were Cougartown’s final ratings for last weeks episode?
Great To See The Good Wife at #10!
In terms of overall viewing, Sunday is ABC’s best night (not counting football). And even looking at the 18-49 demo, it’s SUdnay again, with “Modern Family” a bit ahead of “Brothers & Sisters.”
Damn it. Will we ever see The Simpsons nab #1? Only time it might have happened was when it beat Cosby early in Season 2, but I think both shows hurt each other’s ratings a bit so that they were beat out by something else.
Answer:
Several critics predicted that “Bart Gets an F” would do considerably worse in the ratings than The Cosby Show. However, the final Nielsen Rating for the episode was 18.4 and a 29% share of the audience, finishing second in its time slot behind The Cosby Show, which had an 18.5 rating and 29% share. It finished eighth in the weekly ratings, but was watched by an estimated 33.6 million viewers, making it the number one show in terms of actual viewers that week. It became the highest rated and most watched program in the history of the Fox Network and remained in that position until January 1, 1995. As of 2009 it is still the highest rated episode in the history of The Simpsons.
So, yes, The Simpsons has finished a week with the most viewers of any television program.
is the cleaveland show beating family guy?
Kellsws6 Family Guy didn’t air that week
