Woo Beck only 500,000 behind O’Reilly… although I’d expect that’d be due to the Palin interview. Still impressive for a show airing at 5.
The only time anyone watches King or Cooper is when they are preempted for disaster coverage. Joy B can barely muster up 1/5 of Beck’s audience numbers. She should be cancelled
@MNIS, I totally agree with you but remember Beck comes on at 3:00 out here in the west. We all DVR his show …. which brings me to another question, do DVR shows get counted in ratings or is it only live? Anyone know?
I find it really amusing that MSNBC uses Palin clips on their shows from her appearances on FOX to criticize her. I think instead of calling names and criticizing Palin they should hire their own commentator from the Palin family that would fit in perfect with their demographic and the other on air personalities. So may I suggest “Countdown” with Keith Obermann and Trig Palin although little Trig will probably overshadow KO cause he is far more intelligent and has way more personality.
Jend, ” do DVR shows get counted in ratings or is it only live? Anyone know?”
Any ratings you see in the press (or on the Internet) include Live+Same Day DVR viewing (note the top of this post) through 3am the following day.
The exception to that are things specifically referring to longer term DVR viewing numbers which typically would include Live+7 Day DVR viewing (and occasionally, but rarely, Live ratings for comparison).
I used to hate FOX News, but I haven’t been able to stop watching lately! Glenn Beck’s show is pretty dang good!
MSNBC on the other hand – no thank you!
Yeah, but can you tell the difference between Beck and Ed Anger? http://preview.tinyurl.com/yber9vp
Boris, on that test I got a 75%. What does it mean I know a posuer when I see one?
Is Campell Brown still getting those Haiti earthquake ratings? This is the first time I have ever seen her ratings in the millions.
Wow, MSNBC has very poor numbers even in a crisis. These are the same if not lower numbers they have on any giving day. Sucks to be them!
People are starting to understand the total BS that comes of these people. Note to MSNBC: You’ll never get it back! Unless you come clean.
People in this country have values! And MSNBC doesn’t!
Taking NBC down with them. ComCast got ripped off! Can they get their money back?
THE TIDE IS TURNING !
These international events are CNN’s forte. Their coverage of the tragedy is exemplary. It’s how they made their name 20 years ago in the first gulf war and they continue with their coverage today. Nobody does it like CNN in this regard.
Fox is giving the Haiti earthquake way to little coverage and it’s pretty pathetic how they’re treating this.
Well CNN and MSNBC will fall down again once the Haitians in America stop watching after the coverage gets old….’tingles’ Matthews doesn’t hagve a chance. And ‘teabagger’ Anderson, will flop again too. Of course no one would be directing anyone to CNN like they did during the campaign, right? Right?
the only time CNN ever gets over 1 miilion viewers is when a tragedy happens .other than that they suck …by next week they will be back in fourth place as usual
MSNBC is giving news a bad name anymore, It’s a shame what NBC has become, at least CNN still has some journalistic tint to it. What the white house should have said about FOX is they are the ONLY real news organization now.
From what I’m watching, the only time Fox isn’t dedicating an entire hour to covering the Haiti tragedy is during the opinion programs. While a tragedy of such proportion should receive as much coverage as possible, I see no inhumanity in FNC not covering it around the clock.
All u people on here know that fox news is not real news let’s be honest
Morning Joe

I like Ulysses S. Grant
What ever happened to Sharon?
Boris, the only one I got worng was “What they have to do is break my legs. What they have to do is silence me”
Masscomm Student, Kool-Aid all ready?
Yeah…ClimateGate revealed, and Fox is the only one to report it…yeah…Fox isn’t ‘real’ news, ’cause ‘real news’ would make the elected officals look good at all times, right?
Think about it…
I loved the interview!
