A&E’s “The First 48” Has Best-Ever Season Opener; “Manhunters: Fugitive Task Force” Grows

Thursday night’s 10th season premiere of A&E’s original series “The First 48” averaged 2.4 million total viewers and 1.4 million A25-54, making it the best-ever season opener for the long-running series.  Its 1.4 million A18-49 tied its best-ever season premiere.  In addition, “The First 48” was up over the overall 9th season by 41% in total viewers, 55% in A18-49 and by 53% in A25-54.

Thursday’s second season premiere of the A&E series “Manhunters: Fugitive Task Force” averaged 1.9 million total viewers, and 1.2 million A18-49 and A25-54 in the 10pm hour.  It grew over its freshman season average by 19% in total viewers,  30% in A18-49 and by 27% in A25-54.
