Dollhouse finale move to 8pm ET/7pm Central on Friday, January 29.
One of many things that slipped earlier in the day because our site was down is that Dollhouse is getting bumped off the schedule again. This time because of the "Hope For Haiti" telethon which will air on most of the broadcast networks and several cable networks on Friday, January 22. The series finale will air instead on January 29.
CW will also be airing the telethon bumping the previously schedule episode of Smallville which would've been its first new episode since November 20.

Is it really fair to call it “abuse” when taking into consideration the devastation in Haiti? It is a network wide broadcast, so Dollhouse is not the only show effected. To use such a monumental catastrophe, such as the one that struck the many people who lost their lives and lost ones, to rag on Fox smacks of bad taste.
Kat, if the TV networks really cared about Haiti to begin with, they wouldn’t do this on a Friday night. So the whole thing is “yuck”. “We want to look good, but on a night where it costs us less money, even if that means we’ll make a lot less money for Haiti! But, we’re still good and nice and care about Haiti!!” (and that’s not targeted just at FOX by any means)
Good point, Kat! I’m sure it was just a word choice error on Robert’s part, and he meant no harm. He loves Dollhouse, yea, but I don’t believe he’s mad.
Grady,
I’m not mad at Fox, or any of the networks, but no, I absolutely don’t believe FOX or any other network gives a crap about Haiti. They give a crap about appearances though.
Robert, I do understand what you are saying, I do; believe me. I have seen more money raised on Twitter by celebrities just begging for an odd dollar here and there from people and that warms my heart even more than some Telethon. (and I do agree with your belief that they are doing it to save face)
My problem really only lies with it being seen as “abuse” against Dollhouse. Seriously, DH is the Fox networks red headed stepchild and it treats it accordingly. I just really didn’t think using this new strike against Dollhouse should have been used when such pain is being felt around the world by just regular folk like you and I.
But I do respect your thoughts. I just got a little heated over the choice of phrasing.
Enough about Haiti. It’s terrible but my god there are other things happening in World right now. LIKE WAR.
Is that telethon going to be 2 hours?
Kat, Dollhouse has a history of being abused/mismanaged by FOX from changing the pilot when they shouldn’t have, to not airing the best episode of season one, to saying Dollhouse was absolutely going to be on the November sweeps schedule to…”oh, DOLLHOUSE!? you meant THAT DOLLHOUSE! No, that’s not on our November sweeps schedule!”
Indeed, absolutely none of that compares to a 7.0 earthquake. And I can see why my word choice would rub someone the wrong way, though that isn’t actually how I intended it.
Poor Haiti, its a fairly crappy place to live normally – but then they world doesn’t care.
Robert, that’s why I called DH Fox’s red headed stepchild lol.
Same as SPN is for the CW. Except SPN is treated a little better, so maybe it is only a strawberry blonde stepchild.
Kind of wish Dollhouse would cause a 7.0 earthquake in 18-49.
At least it isn’t bumping Chuck
Are people really bitching about a damn TV show being booted to help raise money from victims of this horrible event? I mean please people. And by the way the telethon to raise money for 9/11 victims and families was on a Friday also and people watched.
Wow. A little perspective here guys. Dollhouse is fiction. Haiti is reallife.
@Darcy
Well its a fact of life, most people don’t care about distant strangers. In fact all people don’t care about distant strangers most of the time – Haiti for instance has the highest infant mortality rate on the Western hemisphere – they could use some help with that, but not so much luck. People are dying from tuberculosis down there, which has been eradicated in most other place. And that’s when there is no earthquake.
(And fyi, I haven’t been complaining about them moving Dollhouse)
I agree, its only a tv show, this is real life!!
Any word on whether Fox will still allow Global to air the finale next week? It’s still on their schedule but they might just not have adjusted yet…
It aired here in Canada, saw it.
I was similar to the Angel Finale.
I had no idea it was the Finale, i’m pretty sure someone will upload it somewhere.
Kermonk says:
“People are dying from tuberculosis down there, which has been eradicated in most other place.”
What would give you the idea that TB has been eradicated anywhere, much less in “most places”?
