I see the season finale of this show is next week. Sure that will break 4 million viewers. May watch the season finale to see what all the hype is about with this show.

  2. Dingo

With those numbers, Jersey Shore: Season 2 is coming.

  3. Julian

IDK know how a season 2 will work with the cast now becoming “celebrities”. Renting a summer house in seaside heights doesn’t seem too likely but I don’t doubt MTV is looking to continue this.

    Well…s**t DOES attract flies.
The stinkier it is…the more that’ll come.

  5. OpeningDayGuy09

I can’t wait until this shit is over so ABDC can comeback on the 28th.

  6. Catiebug

God, these kids make me violently angry. I couldn’t even watch the motherf*#&ing hockey game last night without having them shoved down my face! But of course, I hate them, which means they’re the highest rated show out there.

  7. Matt

Awesome guilty pleasure show. I watched a couple of weeks ago because I heard so much about it, and now I can’t quit. It’s trashy entertainment at its best.

  8. Liara

I love all of these people are commenting on a show that they either hate or don’t even watch. I mean what’s the point???

Anyway I like the show, and obviously millions of other people do as well. If anyone can’t understand that, go watch some boring BBC shows, lol

  9. Peter

This show will bomb if it returns for season two. The novelty is wearing off, most people in New Jersey now dislike the show. The sad thing is that most viewers tune in to laugh at the cast, not admire them. And I’m not sure the cast realizes this.

  10. Cullen

Robert would you happen to have the 18-49 numbers for the episode?

  11. Christopher Thomson

Private Pratice did better than this crap

  12. Anthony

Yeah because Private Practice is on a bigger network. Jersey Shore is not crap. It’s a good show.

  13. Cullen: 1.7/5 18-49 rating/share (national rating, not coverage rating)

  14. Tks

I don’t get it who and why would anyone support this crap. Bring on the BBC.

  15. TomKH

20 years ago MTV started airing Unpluged.

  16. Uglyboy

@ Julian > Same thing for “The Hills”, the girls are rich and kind of famous since 3 years but their “characters” was still average american girl who worked very hard as “trainee”

    Sorry for my bad English

  17. Jared

Don’t watch Jersey Shore, but LOVE the cast anyways…now its time for Americas Best Dance Crew…people with REAL talent!!..

  18. Pete

Peter- DO you live in Jersey?? EVERYONE in Jersey watch this show. They were even talking about on NJ Nets broadcasts. If you don’t live in Jersey don’t talk like you know about it. If you do live in Jersey, accept your surroundings.

  19. Joey "the Predicament"

Wicked awesome show! Can’t wait to hit the clubs, and beat up the beat-Just like Pauly D said. Hope Angelina comes back in finale, she was the hottest girl. All U haters out there, don’t hate the players, just hate it that your’re not that cool!

jersey shore must be the most profitable show on tv.
numbers as good as CSI, NCIS and all that junk but only $1000 bucks cost per episode. great deal for MTV.
