It had some, but not all, of the feeling of early ER. Everytime NBC comes up with a good scripted drama, reality tv freaks, kill it. Take for instance Boomtown and Southland. Both great shows. Parenthood has the valuable post-Biggest Loser spot, which should propel it to at least marginal ratings success, if I had to venture a guess myself.
