ADULT SWIM

  • Adding another solid week’s results to its January ’10 performance, Adult Swim once again ranked #1 among all ad-supported cable networks for total day delivery of adults 18-34, adults 18-24, men 18-34 and men 18-24.  Compared to the same time period last year, Adults 18-34 delivery (482,000) increased by 9% and ratings (0.7) by 17%.  Similarly, men 18-34 delivery (280,000) jumped by 10% and ratings (0.8) by 14%.  Additionally, average Adults 18-49 delivery (663,000) rose by 14%.
  • Among Adult Swim’s signature programming, Family Guy (Monday, Jan. 11, 11 p.m.) earned powerful double-digit delivery and ratings gains compared to the 2009 time period, with adults 18-34 delivery (1,414,000) improving by 42% and adults 18-24 delivery (852,000) improving by 35%.  Overall, Adult Swim programs—includingFamily Guy, Robot Chicken and Titan Maximum—accounted for 19 of the Top 50 telecasts of the week on ad-supported basic cable among adults 18-34, more than any other network.

CARTOON NETWORK

  • Cartoon Network’s #1 action-adventure original animated series Ben 10: Alien Force (Friday, 8:30 p.m.) earned solid double-digit ratings and delivery gains compared to the same 2009 time period among all kids demos: Kids 6-11 delivery (590,000) increased by 37%, kids 2-11 delivery (862,000) increased by 31% and kids 9-14 delivery (427,000) increased by 12%.
  • HAR HAR THARSDAYS (Thursday, 8-10 p.m.)—Cartoon Network’s premier night for comedy programming—presented all-new episodes of its original animated seriesChowder (8:30 p.m.) and Johnny Test (8 p.m.), earning across-the-board gains among key kid demos.  Chowder’s kids 6-11 delivery (694,000) grew by 47%, kids 2-11 delivery (975,000) grew by 40% and kids 9-14 delivery (566,000) grew by 44%.  Johnny Test’s kids 6-11 delivery (690,000) grew by 8% and kids 2-11 delivery (1,053,000) grew by 21%.
  • Cartoon Network presented a 12-hour AMERICAN SUPERHERO WEEKEND stunt (10 a.m.-10 p.m.) on Saturday, Jan. 16, earning double-digit gains across the day with most kid demos—kids 6-11 delivery (482,000) and kids 2-11 delivery (738,000) both improved by 16%.
