Score another victory for unscripted content?
We've already posted the viewer info for the season finale of Jersey Shore and the mid-season premiere of Burn Notice. Burn Notice averaged around 600,000 more viewers (5.4 million vs. 4.8 million) overall. But with adults 18-49 Jersey Shore's 2.6 rating easily bested Burn Notice's 1.9 adults 18-49 rating.
Burn Notice creator and showrunner Matt Nix has been waging a Twitter war with White Collar's Jeff Eastin. Maybe he should set his sights on Sookie and "The Situation" instead!
I haven't seen all the the data yet, but Jersey Shore is poised to be tops on basic cable with adults 18-49 and 18-34 for the week. Both shows had more viewers and a better adults 18-49 rating than Monday night's episode of Heroes.
Fortunately for the rest of the Thursday 10pm shows, Jersey Shore will be on the beach for a while.
