Cake Boss Renewed By TLC For Third Season

TLC is looking to see its dough rise and has ordered a third season of hit reality series "Cake Boss."

Cabler, which has shifted to a lineup heavy on cuisine-oriented programming, is getting traction with the skein about a family-run bakery, headed by Buddy Valastro, in Hoboken, N.J. Series is averaging 1.8 million viewers this season.

    It does look interesting. I just checked out their website. Never heard of it before today and, frankly, I laughed when I saw this posting. Still, why not? Some of their cakes are pretty creative and involved — not sure I’d want to even try them myself, even scaled down — but, yea, it does look interesting and amusing. :-)
