@ ragincajun They’re not going to revamp their entire line-up that much, this is CBS after all, they;re the safest network on the planet pretty much… CSI NY, Ghost Whisperer and Two and a Half Men have been in their respective timeslots forever, and I doubt they will launch a new at 9:30 Monday, it might hurt CSI Miami. Hawaii 5-O whatever that is, sounds like Magnum PI might go at 8pm Wednesday, the Criminal Minds spin-off will most likely go Sunday 10pm, an emotional heartfelt charity TV show isn’t likely to succeed at 10pm, so Undercover Boss will probably go at 9pm.

Good numbers, my prediction was 5.8 but still not a bad performance. Finally, a great Tuesday night for ABC.
Good numbers for CBS, NBC and of course FOX. I think once Glee settles in the 9pm slot on April it will get high3s to mid 4s

Yet they messed with The Mentalist which was rocking the socks off of Tuesday and is now not faring as well at 10 pm Thursday. I think CBS takes some of their hits for granted and just tosses ‘em to the back burner.

Oh yeah, did FOX mention to anybody that AI is at 9 tonight? The entire internet right now is like, “oh my god where’s American Idol?!?”

Nice # for LOST. Can’t wait for IDOL & LOST to bring NCIS:LA back to earth. I watch the show, but no many of the same police procedurals.

I thought #’s would be higher, but it would have been alittle hard for the casual viewer from season 1 or 2 to watch and not be completely lost.

Unless TGW’s numbers really drop this season, I don’t see CBS messing with its Tuesday schedule next season, especially if TGW has a shot at winning an Emmy or two. They’ll pair the CM spinoff with the original on Wednesday and move CSI: NY to Sunday. I also think they should go with the Hawaii 5-O remake on Wednesdat at 8:00 and move the comedy block to Sunday, so it would be

By my math the CM2 pilot will air mid-March. Still not sure where it’s going; I’m still standing by my guess of The Good Wife to Friday, CSI:NY to Tuesday 10 pm, then Wednesday will be comedy – CM – CM2. Such a schedule is obviously not in the best interests of The Good Wife… but unless the comedy block goes there’s only x amount of non-Friday slots and someone has to lose.

Lost dropped a 10th to a 5.5 in the finals. On the plus side, my 18-49 prediction is now dead on. The first time I’ve been within a mile of predicting a premiere correctly all year and I nailed it exactly.

Ooh, my predictions for the Lost premiere were pretty close. It did a bit higher than I expected.

So, Kitchen Nightmares gets better Idol retention than Human Target, and that’s up against a huge Lost premiere. Bam.

Les Moonves has repeatedly said they skew older and value some of the older viewers. It could be BS. But with all that they still are number 1 in viewers and number 2 in demos. tell me where all this skewing young has gotten ABC and NBC. Fox is managed well and they have AI a huge benefit. And AI attracts 24 to 25 million viewers and a lot of them are still older folks.

I had watched probably less than an hour of Lost before last night (I know basically what the premise is) but, I thought the premiere was pretty easy to follow. I was just confused about Locke.

On Jimmy KImmel, Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse announced the finale was Sunday, May 23. I presume this was to get out of the way of AI and the DWTS finale.

@Martin Combination of those 2 I’d say, though more significant is the audience TBL stole because that’s what it will be up against regularly. The fact that it faced Lost and didn’t lose that much is a good indicator that it will rebound next week against stellar competition: The Forgotten and Leno!

I don’t think they will Dylan unless the island comes up from the bottom of the sea. Maybe these ‘flash forwards’ are showing what will happen once the conclusion of the season takes place. Only thing I do know is this was the most confusing episode of the series and I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s going to be a wild ride!

While I haven’t watched this show in years, based on the “Survivors land in LAX unharmed” timeline, I can almost guarantee that they somehow end up on the island anyway, even though they landed safely. This would play into that they were “destined” to be there.

Again, haven’t watched in years, and it’s pure speculation, but that would be my guess.
