I think DC and VA (well, the whole game) got very high ratings because of the snowstorms in the Northeast keeping viewers at home instead of going to the sports bars and stuff. Yes, great game indeed, and UcB was quite a surprise to me. With proper handling, it could become CBS's answer to Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Well done, CBS!

Undercover Boss did decent numbers given all the hype, & Oprah. Kudos to CBS for taking a gamble on a show that they need to succeed. I believe the show will bounce like a flat basketball, once...twice and eventually roll out the door. I believe todays audience is too savy to totally buy into such a packaged concept beyond brief curiosity. Besides, how could you ever expect to pull off another season after debuting after the Superbowl? Just asking.....

Odd I didn't hate Undercover Boss. Wasn't great but wasn't terrible but was it really supposed to make me hate middle management and think the CEO's and COO's are just out of touch misunderstood good guys? I thikn the show will do decent. Not sure if I'll watch again but I have to admit being curious as to how the CEO of Hooters gets involved in everyday jobs. Is he going to be showng his wears so to speak while waiting on customers?

This is why living in VA is frustrating. We're not som little random state- Norfolk was one of the markets with the most viewers in the whole US, yet we don't have a single pro sports team! (DC doesn't count!)

Undercover Boss was actually pretty interesting and with Hooters management next week one assumes viewership will be good.

I was wrong about Undercover Boss. I expected it to fall off bad. CBS squeezed in a lot of promos for Survivor and Amazing Race. They had a thing with Barney from HIMYM which should boost that show considerably tonight. CBS did a great job promoting it's own brand to a monster audience.
