Saturday Night Live With Ashton Kutcher Up a Bit

Categories: Late Night TV Ratings

February 8th, 2010

Saturday Night Live with host Ashton Kutcher and musical guest Them Crooked Vultures, averaged 5.3/13 (household rating/share) in metered-market households. That is on par with many of this year's episodes and up 6 percent versus last week (5.0/12) when Mad Men's Jon Hamm hosted with musical guest Michael Bublé.  It was up 10 percent versus the same night one year ago (4.8/12).

  1. From experience, what do you think a 5.3 HH rating would correspond to in an 18-49 rating for Saturday Night Live this year?

    Thanks

I watched about two minutes of SNL and had to turn it off. That kid is so stupid.

During the Will Reading skit I laughed so hard I vomited on my shirt. I took a sip of water and laughed/choked so hard and couldn’t stop. Tacos everywhere.

OK, I’m 40 years old. I grew up on this show. Wife and I turned it on Sat night, and thought it was about the worst bunch of “comedy” we have ever seen on TV. I haven’t tuned in for years, but for some reason we were up. Good Lord, it was just terrible. There was one amusing skit (can’t remember it, though), but the hour of this shite that we watched, left a lot to be desired.

The Weekend Update (news thing) has to make Dennis Miller feel proud, as this was so bad, it was actually unwatchable.

We’ll just have to wait and see Betty White’s impact. :)
