- 15.4/38 A18-49I must say... the audience hold UB exhibited for the last 43 minutes of the program was remarkable. But were people just interested because it was on and after the Super Bowl? Or did they like what they saw enough to come back in droves this Sunday? Color me curious!

This surprised me, but as Travis said, next Sunday is the real test.
I just didn’t turn the channel after the super bowl & didn’t pay attention to it until about 15 mins in. Then I actually became interested and watched the second half. I will be tuning in next week.
That’s actually rather impressive. Yes, yes, next week is the real test but still, not having a huge drop off every 15 minutes is really good.
And for the record, I didn’t watch and don’t plan to.
I watched it…. I won’t be next time. Wasn’t really a WOW kind of show…
3-4 episodes will do go, after that….
(but then again, old people are weird…. dancing with the stars a top show….really!)
yea, wow, really impressive. I expected huge drop within the second half hour, but it didnt. i mean, i watched it, it was ok, i probably wont be watching it again, but who knows. people these days are willing to watch some werid things.
I’ll be watching!!
More sensational numbers for CBS to see. I’m not even going to try to guess next week’s demo/viewers for this show because I’ve been underestimating everything, but I’m hoping it’s really good so Cold Case can have a nice lead-in for their last episodes down the stretch.
Or were the TV’s just still on during the parties?
I think CBS may have found the first show to outrate Idol in a long time with Undercover Boss. Of course, next Sunday is the real test but the ratings stability for the pilot is amazing. If Undercover Boss does become a ratings juggernaut (and possibly the next big reality franchise), CBS might schedule it for Thursday at 9pm next season (moving CSI to Sunday at 9pm) and give The Mentalist a big lead-in.
^Some of it is that, but if it were all just people leaving their TVs on, wouldn’t you figure a few of them would figure it out throughout the hour and turn it off? The fact it remained so steady actually indicates that it wasn’t just people being slow to turn off the TV.
“(but then again, old people are weird…. dancing with the stars a top show….really!)”
I’m only 18 & like “Undercover Boss” a lot.
Watched it, but I won’t be back either. It’s a neat idea but it felt a little too “scripted” to me in parts.
