Greek fans can celebrate, ABC Family has renewed the college dramedy for a fourth season.
Greek received an order for 10 new episodes that will begin airing later this year.
The show is ABC Family's longest running original series according to THR, which notes the show has "performed solidly" for ABC Family. But at least in terms of average viewership, the recent numbers had caused a few heart palpitations for fans. Now they can relax, at least for a while.

Ricardo: ABC Family renews their shows 10 episodes at a time. I would expect the next 10 to air in August and if the ratings are still good, another 10 to air in March or April of 2011.

As the Yipee said, it probably won’t be renewed beyond this but this is more than enough to wrap up the bulk of the storylines.
Now if ABC family really wants to make me happy they will renew Lincoln Heights too but I doubt that will happen. It doesn’t really fit the demo they were going after.

I’m a fan of Greek, but ABC Family should use this 10-episode order to wrap up the storylines and end it because the show’s getting a little long in the tooth. The show needs to move on when the majority of the characters graduate, and if the showrunners keep them around the campus after the fact it’ll just hurt the show.
Maybe it’s performing well for the 10pm slot which is ABC Family’s first foray (correct me if I’m wrong) on having a original program on that slot
Easily ABC Family’s best show — funny, smart, well cast, and far better than higher rated garbage like “Secret Life.” I seriously think the writing on the show, the dialogue, is just terrific.

Wow, alot of surpised lately. First i thought it’s gonna be Supernatural final season, but they renewed it. Now Greek. Now i really hope NBC gonna renew Heroes and Community.
for whomever just said that they need to wrap up the storylines because people are starting to graduate… you really need to watch last weeks episode.
