History’s Original Logging Series, “Ax Men” Posts Season High 2.6 Million Viewers

Ranked #1 in the Sunday 10-11pm time period among key male demos
In its 6th week of season 3 premieres on Sunday, February 21 at 10:00pm ET, HISTORY’s acclaimed logging series, AX MEN, posted season highs – making it the #2 ratings delivery of all time for the series in total viewers.
The February 21 episode of AX MEN logged:
- Total Viewers: 2.6 million
- Adults 25-54: 1.6 million
- Adults 18-49: 1.5 million
- Men 25-54: 1.2 million
- Men 18-49: 1.1 million
- HH Rating: 1.9%
In addition, AX MEN ranked #1 in the Sunday 10-11 pm time period among the key male demos of Men 25-54 (1.2 million) and Men 18-49 (1.1 million) vs. all of cable.
In an all new season, AX MEN spans the country for the first time, literally from one coast to the other, as intrepid loggers from six teams push deeper into densely covered forests during the logging industry’s most dangerous season. Over the course of twelve episodes, teams from Oregon, Washington, Montana, Louisiana and Florida tower higher atop the trees and go deeper into the seas, risking life and limb in pursuit of the timber from which America is built. Season 3 of AX MEN premiered Sunday, January 10, and new episodes air Sunday’s at 10pm ET on HISTORY.
