Nevermind! The Forgotten Off ABC's Schedule For March 23; Season Finale On March 9

March 3rd, 2010

Earlier we noted that the March 16 episode of the forgotten would be pulled for a FlashForward clip show. And several sites reported yesterday that the March 23 episode had also been pulled off the schedule which would effectively make the March 9 episode the season finale. Apparently that's not the case because this press release just arrived from ABC. It's not clear whether that episode of the forgotten was put back in the schedule, or whether it never left and this press release is *just* about an episode change.

Update: Neither! It was a typo by ABC in their press release, corrected below. The last forgotten will be March 9.

** EPISODE CHANGE **

Bones OF A YOUNG GIRL ARE DISCOVERED IN THE WOODS

-- COULD THIS BE ALEX’S MISSING DAUGHTER? --

ON ABC’S “THE FORGOTTEN”

The team enters the world of internet-based scavenger hunts, where they track the sinister individual who left the remains. But who is this person? Do the remains belong to Lucy? And will they finally answer the questions surrounding her disappearance?, on “the forgotten,” TUESDAY, MARCH 9 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on ABC.

Note: This episode replaces “Living Doe.”

Does that mean there are episodes they wont air or will this last episode finish off the ones they ordered?

Ugh.. was this past season a case of ABC devoting more time and energy into their comedy development? Because every single drama they introduced this season was horrid! They better step their game up!

Well, at least they’ll end the series with some “closure”. They really didn’t focus on his missing daughter TOO much. I’ll bet they originally planned this to be a season 3 or 4 event… :) So much for the Elisha Cuthbert effect. She was cute in her few epsidoes.

  11. Bob, it means there are are (I believe) at least two episodes left that have no scheduled airdates. Whether they end up airing sometime in the summer or just get put on the DVD is unannounced.

It was a terrible show and definitely doesn’t deserve to be renewed. Just more formulaic junk. Good riddance!

  19. When I watch this I can’t help but thinking of Michelle Borth naked due to her lovely role in Tell Me You Love Me on HBO. I’ve watched every episode so far, but won’t really miss it once gone. It’s a good filler for Tuesday night, since no other Tuesday shows appeal to me.
