Even with the Academy Awards on Sunday, ABC couldn’t top Fox for the weekly primetime adults 18-49 ratings win, 3 nights of American Idol are too strong for even Oscar to overcome.

How bad are things about to get for NBC? Last week they doubled up on Law & Order’s, premiered Parenthood, had an hour long Office special, and aired the first hour long Marriage Ref and they still averaged just a 2.1 adults 18-49 rating in fourth place. God help them the rest of the spring.

Now updated with the weekly adults 18-34 and 25-54 ratings.

Note that the chart includes RATINGS not VIEWERS as was typical in our weekly network ratings posts prior to July, 2009.

Each rating point is a percentage of the US TV population in that demographic group and equals: 2.90 million viewers, 1.32 million adults 18-49, 0.68 million adults 18-34 and 1.24 million adults 25-54.
