I’m not sure how much work it might be but it would be very cool to see the 2009 total viewer (or 18-49) average audience numbers for all/most cable networks’ top 3 or top 5 shows.
Without such info, it is very hard to put ratings/audience numbers in context.
A winner for Comedy Central is probably a loser for USA, etc.
Without a “Top X” benchmark, a lot of the data is pretty hard to evaluate.
