The ultimate no-brainer. Betty White hosting SNL, or anything.

there will be some pretty big ratings on this one

NBC isn't farting around…they set Betty for the May sweeps rating period!
I'm so happy for her. She's always been a class act, an animal rights person, and a fantastic game show player. She was also a beauty back in the day. Check out some of her game show appearances on “To Tell The Truth” and “What's My Line” from 50 + years ago.
She turned 88 this January and I hope she never retires.

Is that a gang sign Betty White is flashing?

  5. Lester's Fan, You don't want to mess with Betty. Trust me.

Can't wait! Nothing beats hearing an 88 year old comic genius deliver dirty lines in perfect rhythm
    You rock Betty!!

  7. This is excellent news! The people have spoken. Now it's in the hands of the writers.

I know Betty White has become ironically cool in the past few months, with that overrated Snickers commercial, etc., but it all seemed a bit contrived. Kudos to her management team to pull it off, and as much as I've enjoyed and respected her career, there's nothing I find particularly funny or relevant about her in 2010 to watch SNL with her … however if you got Sha-na-na to be the musical guest …

LOVE Betty White (and all “Golden Girls”). The Facebook campaign looks to have worked.

I am really glad Betty White will be hosting SNL. She is a fantastic comedic actress with that wonderful delivery. However Betty White does not have any children so it seems dumb to say its great that she will be hosting Mother's Day weekend. Just say you are glad she is hosting.
