  1. Arguably the best episode of the series so far.

16 Million overall viewers, WAY TO GO 'THE MENTALIST'.

isn't it funny how everyone loves a show where the main character is an assh**e.

Yeaa Mentalist. Another great show for CBS.

  5. Anybody but Simon Baker in said role just wouldn't be right.

I've never really watched The Mentalist before, but I caught myself watching it last night, and I really enjoyed it. It was smart and funny. The episode's plotline was very clever and engaging. Don't know if all the eps are as good as that, but it's no wonder the show has gotten such acclaim. Glad to see it doing well in the ratings too. (Still not the BEST show on television, imo, but I'll give it props.)

That was a fantastic episode. The only real complaint I had was how he solved the case. He used basically the same method of revealing the killer as in the previous episode, though admittedly on a much grander scale.

They *really* need to have more Red John episodes.

Well he says the truth, how much that is despised is a cultural thing (as in not all countries hate it as much as the US)
But its also because Simon Baker raises this to an artform – you would be hard pressed to find someone else to do it as well.

Not for me, I think Red John is mostly annoying. They should add more fun stuff.

  10. Red John IS this series, like it or not. I would be content if every other episode was a Red John episode.
