Even when Special Report can get the PRESIDENT, it still cannot beat O'Reilly or Beck??? I thought Special Report's ratings would be double, if not triple.

Wow. Obama's popularity/drawing-power is a fraction of what it once was. I see now that Obama's approval rating has (for the first time I think) been in the true negative. Negatives higher than positives. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/p… But still. He's the PRESIDENT. You would think he could get Special Report bigger ratings. Or at least I would and I'm not even an Obama fan.

  2. Demonjoe

I was expecting bigger numbers for Special Report.

  3. Obama just is not attraction for conservative viewers. I have seen some of the clips and he can not handle hostile interviewers and going of the script.

  4. gamble20

Well, it was early in the day still. Almost 3 million is very impressive.

Also, it wasn't very hyped. Kind of a spur of the moment deal, and its not like Oreilly's interviews (back in 08) when he would hype it up for half a week on radio and TV.

BUT, it is still evidence of Obama's allure wearing down. The fact of the matter is, people have heard enough (not taking a political side im just saying how many times can you hear the same talking points) and are getting numb on Obama.

  5. must67

    Baier also trails Hannity

  6. irisham

No one will watch for him, obama is a narcissist. I watch the program for Krauthhammer….But Bret got that feak good.

  7. dbwells

Now everybody knows why the D-rats don't go on FNC, I imagine their toes get quite warm being held that close to the fire

  8. Larsen3

The only reason that freak went on FNC was so he'd be seen by more than his pet networks could draw.

Bet the chicken shit never goes on FOX again.

Watched the whole thing and as the others here, I am surprised that the numbers weren’t higher. Personally I change the channel every time that *sshole that claims to be our president is on any channel. But as for the interview with Bret, Obama got his ass kicked in that interview, Bret did a superb job of exposing all the repeat bullsh*t the comes out of Obamas mouth. The idiots on the far left can bitch and moan all they want, the prez’ was finally asked REAL questions which as usual Obama wouldn’t answer, kept trying to dance around the subject and return to his “scripted” talking points.

Why doesn't MSNBC get Mika off of Morning Joe? Its ratings would certainly rise. She is a very negative person with a sour outlook on news matters. Her knee jerk defense of all things to do with the Democratic party is painful. Scarborough, an admitted Conservative, tries to present both sides of a matter. Mika never does.

There are any number of classy ladies that could read the news for the show.

    Robert,
Do you have any number on other Cable News Channels that did an interview with the President? Wonder what that would look like, who do they watch based on the interviewer?

  14. Edward_V

Hostile, don't you mean expected? News interviews are supposed to get answers, Not just let the person being interviewed spout his same old campaign rhetoric.

  15. mhwharp

The President just would not give a straight answer. It got really annoying.

  16. skillshoe

Jon Stewart blows away in ratings to Fox by1 million viewers each night! LOL!

  17. irisham

Sad, it shows how many out there have such a low IQ

    news……politically satire…….comedy…..whatever floats your boat!
