Skeet Ulrich of Jericho fame was cast in a John Wells produced medical pilot for CBS. According to THR the pilot "centers on a mobile medical team that travels the U.S. helping those in need get through life-or-death medical crises."
Hopefully the third time will be the charm for Ulrich at CBS, after Jericho Ulrich was cast in in last year's drama pilot "Back," but it wasn't picked-up to series.
After extremely successful turns at NBC with ER and The West Wing Wells probably can't get the stink of the Southland experience at NBC off of him fast enough. Southland was ultimately picked up by TNT, but hasn't been a ratings success there, and some comments by an executive at TNT have us wondering if parent company Time Warner didn't force TNT to take on the show after NBC bailed.
Wells' production company John Wells Productions operates out of Warner Bros Television, also owned by Time Warner.

Probably because no one else is interested in making him the lead in a series. This is business, just like Jericho's cancelation. If actors refuse to work with any network that canceled a show they were in, they wouldn't be working for very long.

I don't like medical shows, but I will give it a try, because I love Skeet.
I think Skeet is an amazing actor, I remember watching Jericho and I think its a great tv show. I will be looking forward to his new show and hopefully this time it will be much better for him.
can hollywood come up with something new all we get now are medical shows and cop shows the only real good and original shows are on cable like hbo and amc i find that network tv shows are all now the same
