Looks like CNN's numbers are rebounding from a few months ago. Also, I didn't know Maddow was pulling higher numbers than Olbermann.
Haven't watched Matthews since he started literally salivating over Obama.
MSNBC again did better than HLN
Is Beck new for the last week or is he on vacation?
Fox is not only holding steady they are still gaining viewers. I switched to Fox a year ago and have been amazed at the great job they do in news reporting, and the commentary shows while leaning right at least allow opposing views. Even on Hannity he allows and has liberals on and at times they have very good discussions.
I am really surprised that Hannity holds so much of O’Reilly's audience. They way he repeats himself over and over again just gets so annoying. I think it was last night but not 100% sure that Olbermann did one of his special comments. I turned it on for a second to see if he was back saw he was doing a special comment then went back to Fox.
yesterday's olbermann show was from last october.
I love MSNBC in the mornings! Morning Joe is great, I love that it's a conversation. I also love the Daily Rundown.
How does CNBC make money? I know that people who watch their programming are more likely to be affluent, but no one watches. I guess they stay a float 'cause NBC News, MSNBC, and CNBC are able to share facilities and thereby keep costs down?
I love Fox News. During the day, their reports are generally objective. Their prime time programming is OBVIOUSLY partisan, but so in MSNBC. I'm a Canadian, I'm liberal, but I always feel like Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann are so condescending their holier than thou attitudes. While I don't agree ideologically with FOX News, I at least feel like they are attempting to engage their views (who are receptive to what their saying) compared to MSNBC prime time where I feel like I need to have a bathe after watching.
Is there anyway to get ratings for the individual day time shows that are on during the day? What type of ratings does Andrea Mitchell bring in? Savannah & Chuck?
How is Dylan Ratigans show doing now that it has moved to the 4pm slot?
Oh,why no Bloomberg on here?
I just love Rachael Maddow !
I only wish she would wear a frilly dress once in awhile and ditch those combat boots for some heels.
Althea,
There's no daily Bloomberg info here, or anywhere else. Bloomber doesn't subscribe to Nielsen's measurement services, so Nielsen doesn't report the data.
The 'Dylan Ratigan Show' ranked as the #51 cable news program for the month of February (2/01 through 2/26) averaging 300K P2, 66K A25-54. 'Andrea Mitchell Reports' was #62 with 275K P2+, 55K A25-54.
Wow. I don't like this new register/posting process. It sucks and there are a lot fewer posts than before. That said, look for a freakin' record viewership prime time for Fox News on Monday night if Obama's nightmare bill passes on Sunday. O'Reilly might get 5 or 6 million-plus.
You know, There is less suspense with regard to who will win cable news ratings than there is to who is going to win a 16 vs. 1 NCAA basketball tournament game.
The bill wont really be passing Sunday even if it gets past this vote. It will go to the senate and change then go back to the house many more times after this so people shouldn't be too worried Sunday. Shows are hyping this like it actually means a lot when it doesn't.
took me a couple of days to figure this all out
funny only saw tea party protest on FNC, wonder why?
And I thought that FNC was only showing president Obama's speeches and rallies, uninterrupted.
I don't know how you've managed to miss the viral video of a guy with Parkinson's disease being mocked, ridiculed and harassed at a tea party that was all over the place last week.
As far as today's protest goes, I don't know about CNN, but MSNBC doesn't have a lot of live programing on Saturdays (if any?) but, luckily, there are the internets:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35965961/ns/politic…
I give you the REAL tea party. I can only assume Fox News covered this story… being a fair and balanced organization and all.
Thanks for the link. “…words of inspiration from President Barack Obama …” pretty much sets the tone for the story.
“The bill wont really be passing Sunday even if it gets past this vote.”
Not exactly. If the House passes the Senate bill, it goes to the president. If the House then passes the reconciliation bill, that returns to the Senate.
Yes. Morning Joe is very good, except when Miki Brezenski puts her dour outlook on matters. It's no wonder that CBS fired her. Scarborough should get a new person to read the news. That is unless he's planning to run for the presidency.
