Showtime’s “Nurse Jackie” Sees Highs; “United States of Tara” On Par With Last Year

Last night’s season-two premiere of Nurse Jackie on Showtime saw its highest rated night ever in combined viewing.  The 10pm showing averaged 1.084 million, up 8% versus the season one premiere (1.006 million) and the rebroadcast at 11pm added another 437,000.   The combined 1.521 million was up 13 percent from the season one premiere and 19 percent better than the season one finale.

The season two premiere of United States of Tara averaged 816,000 viewers with an additional 349,000 at 11:30pm for a combined 1.165 million for the night,  on par with the season one according to Showtime.
