The Futon Critic reports that CBS will be doing a test run on April 1 of flip-flopping the time slots for CSI and The Mentalist. A new episode of The Mentalist will air at 9pm followed by a new episode of CSI at 10pm.
Rumblings of such a switch began before the season even started (at least among fans). CBS has tried the maneuver at least once with repeat episodes but this is the first time with original episodes.
